Hi,

I am experiencing issues with the Team Booking plugin when attempting to process payments through Stripe. I have noticed that these errors occur when using PHP version 8.1.7. The following errors appear in the browser console:

“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403” for base64decode.js “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500” for /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php I would like to mention that when using PHP 7.4, the plugin works correctly without these issues.

Could you please confirm if the Team Booking plugin is compatible with PHP 8.1.7? If it is not compatible, do you have any updates planned to address these compatibility issues?

TheBooking is fully compatible with PHP 8.x. That assumes that you are using its latest version, which is 3.1.4, so please confirm this.

Email issues are not a responsibility of the plugin, assuming that your service email configuration is correct, but a responsibility of your mailserver.

The documentation contains a troubleshooting paragraph with hints about how to solve the most frequent email issues.

Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with reminder emails not being sent automatically with V3.0.14 It seems to me that this happens with versions that have been updated from 2.7 to 3.0.14 . The issue is not present on v3.014 set on new websites.

Confirmation mails go out fine, as do reminder mails when triggered manually, but reminder mails are not sent automatically. I use WP Mail SMTP as a SMTP Mailer. What can I do to correct this ? Thanks a lot for your answer.

Install a plugin called “WP Crontrol” and check if there are cron jobs relative to TheBooking (“tbk-”). If not, deactivate TheBooking and reactivate it again.

Hi, I’m trayng to update the plugin from 2.5.6 to the 3.0.14 and i replace team-booking folder via FTP but now the plugin name on the menu of wp is “Thebooking” and i can’t reach only a wellcome page. Nothing more. Second question, does the plugin intall in the dabase eny “ecommerce” table? Thanks

The “welcome” page shows you some buttons, and you should hit “continue” until the tutorial ends.

What is an “ecommerce” table? Is that the supposed name of the table? If that is the case, then no, there is no “ecommerce”-named table relative to the plugin.

Hello,

the button to change email templates of notifications for admins appears. It doesn’t appear for notifications for customers. I’ve the last version of the plugin and tried on Safari and Firefox.

When I disable the notification to the customer, I see the button of the email template is disabled. When I turn on the notification, the button disappears.

It actually appears if I reduce the size of the window small enough.

There is no real multiplier, but you can create a dropdown where any option can have a price modifier (which will be added to the total).

Hello i have dissapearing bookings

I have set up a booking which is only bookable by an pre-registered user

The booking must also be approved by the service providor.

The admin email is triggered saying we have a booking and i have included the details of the booking in the admin email body for debugging purposes.

When i login to the admin panel the customer is present but no booking, it is like it never happened but the email shows that they correctly booked. How can i work out what is going wrong?

i have set the payment to local and this has worked they do not expire, if i change it back they then expire after the time in the drop down even though they are zero payment.

Set the payment to local, set the price to zero and you should be ok. It looks like a configuration glitch, I will look at it.

I have an issue where I received the booking notification but the payment didn’t occur on my stripe account?

A reservation cannot be confirmed without a corresponding payment unless the service is specifically configured for discretionary payments.

Hi, In V3.0.14 of The Booking, is there a way to block a user from booking an appointment ? I’d tried to add a regex expression to the mail field to exclude this email, but it’s not possible in this version. Thanks a lot for your answer.

hi , would like to know how can i configure that services share the same booking slot availability. For example client book service A it will deduct total slots and it will reflect at service B as well.

Let say i set total ticket is 10 from 10:00 – 11:00 if client book services A 2 tickets at 10:00 – 11:00 then services B should show remaining ticket for 10:00-11:00 is 8

Not possible at the moment. That would be an advanced feature, not suitable for the current price range of the product.

May I ask you what is the need to differentiate between service A and B in your case, and why they need to share the slot capacity?

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out for assistance regarding the Team Booking plugin. I recently updated the plugin from version 2 to the newest version manually via FTP by just pasting over the new files without deleting anything. The website owner reported issues with payments and emails, which prompted the update.

Most of the stuff works now. The reason the website owner contacted me was because payments and emails stopped working. With installing SMTP and updating the plugin, both PayPal payments and email notifications to both customers and admins work again. However, there are a couple of issues. There are no reservations. Neither old existing ones nor new ones get created. Customers are there, but reservations are blank. Also, the main tab “Reservations” shows two popup errors saying: “Whoops. There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

Also, I synced everything. For some reason, if someone purchases a slot for, let’s say, June 6, it opens multiple different times. I only want 9 AM shown as the client’s service starts at 9 AM and lasts the full day. When someone books, it duplicates services so more slots appear like 2 PM alongside 9 AM, which is strange.

I will give you access to both WordPress and FTP if needed so you can fix the issue and get your plugin to work. I understand Envato support says to be expired, but at the moment of purchase, you offered lifetime support if I recall.

Hi, can you help me with the email translations? The strings are missing in WPML. I tried the auto register string option and manualy scanning the plugin but no luck.

Using Team Booking 2.6. Unable to use a newer version because it breaks the entire site. Under Services > (service) > Registration Form, when editing the “Price Increment” field for a an option in a select menu on the registration form and clicking the green “Set (remember to save)” button, it changes the Price Increment value on ALL the values in that select. It should only change the option that’s being edited. Help?!

What do you mean by “it breaks the entire site”? Please be descriptive. Provide error logs, and server specifications (PHP version).

Version 2.6 is old and not supported anymore.

What is the best way to upgrade from 2.6 to 3.1 then? When I attempted to do this, the previous services, slots, registrations, and connections to Google Calendar were lost.

So by “it breaks the entire site” you actually just meant that the data from v2.6 was lost?

When you install v3, right after the upgrade there is a presentation that ends with the option to migrate the data from version 2. In any case, in Settings > General > Import/Export of v3 you will find options to migrate data from v2.

P.S. Please note that v3 introduces major changes, especially in how availability must be provided in Google Calendar. Be sure to know how the new system works, before upgrading, as some adaptations of your current workflow may be required accordingly.

Hi, I hope you are well. As you are working on nex 3.1 version, I would like to make you aware of the deletion of old data automatically. In V2.6, there was the possibility of defining a data retention period in the site database in relation to RGPD requirements. I don’t see it anymore in V3.0.14. Do you plan to reintroduce this feature in the next version?

I’ve also noticed that the back-office of The Booking V3.0.14 takes a long time to load reservations for a site with a lot of reservations. This isn’t related to the API calls to Google Calendar since I’d like to think that this queries the database and I don’t understand why the display is so long. Is this normal or do you think there’s a configuration problem? I can’t see anything in the logs.

I have a problem with online payments. I have enabled the option to pay via stipe. I have also set one payment gateway and payment via credit card in the stripe settings. Hi, I really love your team booking plugin but it is really frustrating that you have embedded titles in the shortcodes. Can you please tell me how to remove them. they totally conflict with my theme. I would highly recommend either generating a setting to turn them on or off or just removing them altogether. Anyone can add a title above the shortcode.

sorry. I should have been clearer. When the shortcode is rendered it adds the title of the element; e.g. RESERVATIONS when you show the bookings someone has made. I am using the term bookings not reservations but I cannot change the title.

I agree, the next version will have the ability to customize that. At the moment, share your current frontend reservations page and I will see if a custom CSS may be applied to hide the title.
