I just had one other thing related to the same example above. I noticed that you were able to show the thumbs on large screen, but no thumbs on a mobile screen. I don’t suppose you have any other code snippets which may help me replicate this behaviour?

Currently, I only have the choice of picking between one or the other when using the plugin admin settings.

Yes, that’s the normal behavior of Fancybox, but you can force the display of the “thumbs” on mobile with this lines of CSS:

When using the custom media gallery, the plugin uses the filter names as CSS classes internally in the HTML, so if there’s a strange character it may have some issues, can you show me a living example online? so I can take a look?

I see the issue, you currently have 3 elements that trigger the popup:
1) the image
2) The “view” button
3) And the title
As shown here: https://imgur.com/a/tBmvmUC

And the plugin thinks they are different, I would suggest to remove the ones from the “view” button and the title, (in the skin editor)

Hello, Alright, I get how this works. I disabled the trigger on the button and the title and now images are correctly displayed once in the lightbox. Thanks for the help !

The point is to show cards that can be filtered, and when you click the image, you can see the large version.

Actually I now found out, that the image title seems to be the problem. For accessibility matters we’d hope that one could download PDF version of the image by clicking the caption. Therefore, the title in image data was: <’‘a href=’https://www.valonia.fi/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Kylätie.pdf'"target=_blank">Kylätie (lataa PDF)’’>

—> but this overruns the whole card for some reason. When I took it away, the image is visible again. Where should i put the link to PDF instead?

Ohh, I think it is probably because the according where the gallery is is hidden by default, so when the plugin loads it doesn’t know the dimensions (since it is hidden), it probably requires a refresh when you click on the according

Oh, one more question – is it possible to add a “View More” button at the bottom to load more gallery items? For instance, I just want to show maybe 8 at a time, and then have a load more button to show the rest.

2) The dropdown menu doesn’t have a sticky option, you can try opening this link on mobile: http://www.castlecodeweb.com/wp-mediaboxes/multiple-filters/ so you can check it out

3) Yes this is possible, by default the plugin has the “Lazy Load” feature activate it (which means that the plugin automatically loads more images when you reach the bottom of the gallery), but you can turn it off, and have a “View More” button instead
Also you can choose how many items you want to load at the beginning and how many items you want the “View More” button to load
