Is this still working?, the api site seems to have stopped working in the demo and same thing cheking their website. This is a great plugin, whats the situation pls
Is Soundomatic an alternative or what is he difference, what i wanna achieve is to import musics like blog with their infos, save music files to my server and people can download directly.
I think this plugin can give me what i want but then it seems down, i just found Soundomatic your plugin too, whats the difference please?

Yes, it seems that the FreeMusicArtchive API is down right now. They released this update:
Sept 12, 2019 Tribe of Noise (ToN) signed the agreement to acquire Free Music Archive. The upcoming weeks will be busy transferring ownership.
Based on their announcements, the API should be online sometimes this year, again.

Ok, thanks, but my question now is what is the difference between both plugins, this and soundcloud, and can the soundcloud do the whole music importing wih posts and all that?
The difference is that the plugin uses the Free Music Archive API to import posts containing music, while Soundomatic uses SoundCloud to do the same.

It seems that the freemusicarchive page was sold and it changed owner lately. Based on what they are telling on the site now, it should be back online soon.
This is the message on their page now:
As promised, we would like to update you on what’s happening since this weekend. The new owner is moving the FMA servers to their infrastructure and although both sides are clearly not using dial-in modems we wished we could borrow Star Trek’s warp drive. It’s quite some data, and in the process a few changes are being made to improve the performance of the web pages. i see now, ive tryed them and messed around with settings but always goes yellow and doesnt generate any posts

The plugin provides 2 API key alternatives. Please check in menu where you enter the API key, the line starting with:
“If you do not have an API key, you can use one of the following shared keys”

Great work, But it would have been better for this plugin to import music from any other music blog, and also save the .mp3 file to our server. as long as the content from the site we are copying it from.
i would have really love to buy.

The plugin copies the mp3 file locally to your server (it attaches it to generated posts).
Regarding other music blogs, I need to check on this.
