that is not the service fee but rather the commission settings for signup for merchant
if your merchant is commission you can find the service fee in backoffice -> attributes -> order type -> edit services -> Service fee
now if your merchant is membership you can set them in merchant backoffice -> order type -> delivery -> Service Fee

Also, I’m not sure why but the category times are set for limited availability from a set time to a finish time, and the times are published and shown as saved, but on the front end it allows the customer to still select and order from that category.
I’ve cleared cache and used a separate browser, but the category and items are still showing and able to be ordered during a time when the availability has been set to not allow them.
Disregard. Now it works. It was 7 minutes behind working. I set the breakfast category to close at 10:30am, but it didnt do so until 10:47 or so ♂️

For the add-ons, it seems as if we don’t select a specific number for the “select multiple” options, it will not allow them to select any. I thought if I left it at “0” for the max, it would simply allow them to select as many as are there.
So we have to specify the max number of whatever the category of add-ons holds in order to allow for the max? This also may lead some to actually do that, even if it costs them. Is there not a way to set the default of items allowed to be the entire list of them so that we as admins or restaurant admins don’t have to count exactly how many items are in each category and then set that as the max if it is allowed for the customer to select as many as they want? This way it’s less time consuming.
As it stands now, I have to go back and set a max number for all of these items on the add-ons because I was under the impression that the default was the max for “select multiple”. This will also force me to count the number of items in each add-on category, for each restaurant.
Please advise if I’m missing something. Thanks.

I thought that would be the case, but they aren’t able to. Check this page, and see the Chashu Curry Rice Bowl options for protein. The system won’t let me not put a number in for max (that’s why I set 99 for some), and if I put 0 it won’t allow customer to select any at all.

Hello Basti,
I went to Attributes->Lang->Settings->Default Languauge and selected French for everything.
However, when a merchant have to enter its menu (Food->Items) the default language still is english. I know we can put the French translation bellow but do we have to enter the english first. why ? Can we change the base default language ? Merchant should be able to enter the French menu first and then the translation if they wants.
if you have already food items it will break your translation and might not show data in your homepage
but if there is no data yet
you can change the default language in the file k-config.php
change this line

you don’t need to set exactly to 23:50 cause most of the time your server time will be different from your time
you can run the cron like every 10mins to make sure the invoice will be created at midnight

Hello. What database table does the merchant’s menu go into? I’m looking to duplicate some merchants but all I see is their store information in the database, nothing of their food items and such. Is this somehow not in the database? I don’t see how that’s possible.
Disregard, I see that these menu items and categories are spread out over so many different database tables and duplicating a restaurant via the database itself will be a nightmare of a task.
Friend—is there no way to easily duplicate the restaurants and have their menus replicate too?
If we have places that are chains or franchises or things like Red Lobster or McDonalds where there will be like 10 or so in each city, and their menus are identical, there has to be a way to duplicate these easily. At least could you tell me a table mapping of each aspect of the restaurant, their food menu mainly, so that I could achieve this?

Also, the unique identifier, can i arbitrary set that, or is it based on some algorithm in the code?
i think it will be hard to do that since the primary key will be different and you will have issue or mixed data am sure in front end it will affect the data of the merchant that you copied cause it will have the same id
Well, I just manually create a duplicate from the admin so I can get a unique identifier generated, and of course a primary key for it, but my SQL statements work for the menu, no issue.
Btw — the unique identifier is something that looks like a base-10 hash or mean like Eaff64b72eaFf type thing

Wasn’t sure how it was generated and it duplicated with the merchant when I ran a duplication statement.
Now I just manually create in admin to get a unique one generated and run my SQL just for the menus.
this is not what i mean , what i mean is the table relationship for the food items , take a look at table item_relationship_category for example and item_relationship_size

I have question related to commission for delivery, here there is a driver and we can set commission on a drivers
my question , can i set a commission fees on driver specific on merchants
for example: any delivery from merchant X the commission fees on driver it will be 5%
and from merchant Y it will be 10%

sorry for the late, yes correct all commissions will go to admin right but at Driver we have 2 types of commission
1- system orders 2- restaurant order
if the order its comes from the system he will take a commission from the systems as is now
but if the order its comes from the restaurant like POS order in this case it should be commission not standard, so we here we can set a commission like 8% instead standard one

Hello ..it’s related to a delivery commission for driver .. so if order standard fro mthe system the commission it will be as is … If the order come from restaurant direct in this case the commission on driver it will be different
can you clarify this, if order created from POS commission is different right ?
how about delivery fee commission ? cause we can just adjust the commission of order from POS but we don’t have currently commission on delivery fee

at delivery fee commission: we have one commission for all order types
it should here 2 types of commission, one for direct orders from the system and the second one for requesting a driver from the merchant
Let me explain my point here, about the pos the commission it will be free for a merchant to use it
so now the commission we will handle it from a driver man
1- Driver for order from the system 2- Driver requested from the merchant
so you mean POS orders admin not get commission from it
but will get commission from the delivery fee ? when driver delivers the food

basically what i see here is that if only merchant is not self delivery we can apply commission to the order
here is my issue cause someone wants to have same commission as online orders but yours you want commission only for the delivery fee and someone wants that restaurant can only do POS order if they less the amount in their account
let me think a way to accommodate all this

Hello mate, In the next update, if possible, add: - bag option (it will be automatically added to the order, it will just not be added if all items in the order are marked as not needing a bag) the price of the bag can be configured per store; It is a mandatory requirement in many countries.
- automatic language based on the device’s OS language, that would make sense and not language selectors;
- in the customer app, view of the merchant’s image in banner format, indication of who makes the admin or self-delivery delivery, indication of the delivery price based on the merchant’s address and the customer’s address. When you open an item, it shows the large image instead of the smaller one as currently; In the banner view image add logo for the merchant which will only be shown if it has an add logo;
- POS orders after automatic sending of complete checkout to the customer with payment link for the customer to pay online, after successful payment the order is placed;

I mean this type of view https://ibb.co/W3dj4JS in a banner for the home page (currently you can switch to this type of view when you see all merchants in a category). It would be on the home page to show the merchants in this banner style and if possible increase the height a little to show more of the image. In this view, you can show tags in the image, discount on some items, discount on all items, exclusive, etc., as there is space to add tags there.
It would also be important that the admin can activate a separate servering area for Pickup from the delivery area, because during pickup the customer will collect, so the area defined for pickup may be larger. Order scheduling will be possible to activate or deactivate by merchant. Thank you Regards,

Hey there’s a problem. Seems merchant can only have one add-on category per food item. This is a problem when you deal with some places that have multiple options, for instance a sandwich place which asks customer to choose bun type, toppings, cheese types, and all of which have different charges.
I remember in the old KRMS we could do multiple categories and things like toppings, and set prices as well as things like choose one, multiple or a specific quantity. As well, the term “add-ons” doesn’t really apply to all things that are options.
As it stands I have to create a different item for each variation for items that have two or more options to select for it. Case in point is the Chick-Fil-A menu. https://order.chick-fil-a.com/menu/mobile-entrees/cfa-deluxe-sandwichThere’s no way to do this with KRMS options.

However some things would be better classified as “options” and not “add-ons”.

But it needs to be add ons in some instances. Anyway, I know you can’t cover ALL scenarios and I usually work out what I need with what’s there.
But it seemed a little different w old krms, more flexible.
