Hi, I am with a 4.0 version I got an error message and impossible to update to 4.5. This is the error message. It seems I’d need to renew support. Does it mean it’s not a one time purchase but a one-time for the 6 months support to be allowed to update?

Seems like you didn’t follow our update guideline. Please follow our updated guideline. Requirement for this Writebot 4.5.0 version,
1. Current Application Version 4.4.0
2. There you will get a zip folder named ‘updateVersion4.5.0’. Upload that to the root directory on your server in which your previous version is running. Right Click on the zip file. Unzip that “updateVersion4.5.0.zip” file by selecting “Extract here”.
3. Now go to the home page of your website(wwww.yourdomain.com) and click on ‘Update Now’.
4. Update will be completed!

ok, thanks for your help. Does it meant the I have to update to 4.1, then 4.2 and so on to 4.5? In that case, where can I find the former updates? or maybe you meant that by skipping a version the direct upload on the server with an ftp app will be preferred in this case. Kindly let me know.

1. You need to purchase the API keys to run this application. OpenAi, stability ai, and elevenlabs provide free API balance after signup, but it’s only for a limited time.
2. For a Regular License you can’t charge your customer. If you want to run SAAS business or want to charge from your visitors then you need to purchase an Extended License.

2. Yes, you need API keys to run this application, no matter what license your purchase.
The only difference between the extended license and the regular license is the end use.
Regular license, for when a user is not going to charge for the use of their end product.
Extended license, any sort of charge for the use of the end product; this includes subscriptions, one-time charges, etc.
