I am encountering an issue while trying to unzip the file. I get Error 79: Inappropriate file type or format. When I try using an online unzipper, I receive the following error: ‘Corrupted zip: compression \x09\x00 unknown’.
Hi Alberto, We don’t use any special compression and you seem to be the only user who experiences this kind of problem. Please try to use a different unzip tool on your system and re-download the Magalone file again (maybe it wasn’t downloaded correctly).

Apologies – I completely overlooked your message earlier.
You’re right, the fullscreen button used to be available on mobile devices (like in the June 2024 bulletin). However, in the newer version, we had to make some changes specifically due to issues with mobile Safari compatibility. Unfortunately, this meant removing the fullscreen functionality on mobile devices.
It was a difficult decision and one we made with a heavy heart, but it was necessary to ensure a more stable and consistent experience across all devices.

I have to distribute study material in pen drive with each student @ school. Videos, Images are stored in pen drive within a folder. Can i use your tool “Magalone Flipbook” to make pdf flipbooks and distribute them on pen drive.
Main queries are as follows: While making a flipbook can i import and embed Videos files stored on pen drive to the presentation.
Can we distribute these final flipbooks stored in Pen drive. We don’t want to use internet.

Thank you for your interest in buying the asset. Flipbook generation is pretty easy and straightforward. You just need to copy your PDF Document into the /magalone_folder/documents/doc1/ folder and rename it full.pdf.

How can I avoid needing upload.php even when the file is not called full.pdf?
example : /assets/images/parutions/2024/10/05/QR_15970_20241005-677fb332dd04b.pdf
You need the upload.php, which is handling the upload (as it’s name says) the upload of your pdf file. You can rename your pdf to full.pdf. That’s the easiest way.
I preferred to buy another solution …

My Friend (962IT) bought it with no luck to implement it for apache server with my sql. We go through the documents you provided. The issue is we have many files inside data-path, our data path is: data-path=”../Administration/<?php echo $File_Path; ?>” where the file_path is the field name iside mysql table.
The pathe is correct when run the report (..ead2.php?File_Path=Newspapers_Files/W15-9-23.pdf) but it give error: No upload.php file found or incorrect file.
In the browser developer give the following error: 404 not found cover small and upload.php.
I tried to fixed data-path to call from fixed folder, it run and load the 1st file and keep reading the same file for other pdf files.

Thank you, i like your tools, but am facing many challenges.
I add a fixed data-path, but:
1. I have more than 100 files inside the same data-path folder and increased on daily basis , When I open the needed file (example file 1.pdf), it’s open successfully, when i open the 2.pdf file, it’ open the first one again and so on for the rest of the files, it back again to the 1.pdf file
I think your tools is for only one file generator, and i have to manually add the 2nd file inside the same data-path and clean the previous one, it’ not dynamics for newspaper web site where we have a new issue every day.

If you wish to display multiple documents, it would require each file to be placed in its own separate subfolder. Hello, there is no simple.html file among the files I downloaded, and when I change the pdf file, the images come first, after a certain time, the pdf comes. Please help

The simple.html file is just part of our demo – not the package itself. But everything seems to be ok. Magalone always loads the image first and when the PDF is ready updates the view with the (sharper) PDF. Sometimes that process takes longer, depending on the size and complexity of the PDF.

Hello, I looked at the files, of course, but nowhere does it say how to open a pdf directly, and a data.json request is sent from the maglone.min.js file and the number of pages comes up as 6. What do you mean by “open a pdf directly”? Can you describe your issue more detailed?
In the flip book effect, the images appear first. I don’t want the visual to appear, I want it to appear as a pdf directly, because there is only pdf in the project I made, no images, so it should only work with pdf.
For the demo, I downloaded the images one by one from the pdf and uploaded them in a 50-page PDF, but it does not go further than 6 pages. Could you please solve my problem. I just want to add pdf I don’t want to upload images and let it show how many pages there are I have a presentation tomorrow or I will lose it please help

You don’t need to create any images. The plugin is doing that for you automatically. Please again refer to the instructions and follow them step by step. On mobile devices there’s no page turn effect. That’s also same in our demo.

Yes I made the folder structure htdocs magalone_folder documents document1 full.pdf I created upload.php like this and added the pdf but I still get images that say 1-2-3-4-5-6. It does not go beyond 6 pages. What kind of system is this?
There are 6 values in json, so publishing 6 pages is ridiculous. You need to add the pdf, you need to open as many pages as the pdf.

When the image generation process stops for some reason, there’s an issue with your PDF file. Please check the PDF at (page 7) if there’s anything different from the other pages (size, resolution, alpha etc.) which may be the cause for the problem.
