Why do I get this message when I upload the latest version of your plugin? Warning! WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing & Discounts plugin has been updated from a version which had a critical security vulnerability.

Please click on the link below to find out more about this threat and extra actions that you may need to take to ensure your website is secure.

Hello,

That’s because you had a very old version installed and now installed one of the later versions that has a security vulnerability fixed.

In 2021 we fixed a bug in settings export/import functionality that was a security threat.

Hi, Presale questions,

Is there any capability to create voucher for giveaway purpose? so that a limited number of buyers could applied the voucher on 1 or 2 specific products.

is there any capability to create that giveaway voucher in bulk? for example, we want to create 100 free vouchers to be able to download a digital products for free (or 100% discount).

Hello,

I’m afraid this plugin does not allow you to create vouchers that are limited in number of use. It allows you to create cart discounts that are automatically applied.

We are considering adding a smart coupon feature that may offer what you need.

Hello, is it possible to display the timer on the parent product too? At the moment it’s only displayed after I choose a combination of attributes like size and color, but this way the timer won’t be displayed. How can I display it no matter the product? thank you

Hello,

Currently the Countdown Timer is only displayed when all product properties are selected by a visitor. In the future we will probably add a mechanism that will auto-detect if all variations have the same pricing rule applicable and it they do it will display the timer on page load.

I have one specific scenario for which I am looking for a right woo commerce plugin.

We sell software products online at some base price. These are Woo virtual and variable products in our system. The software may require enhancements and we do it at some cost. Their can be multiple enhancements and so the total cost of enhancement adds up. Note that, these enhancements are also ordered online by our clients through woocommerce. The enhancements are also “Woo virtual Products” in our system.

Now this is important.

1. Our annual maintenance cost of software depends on certain percentage of the sum of initial base price of software + total cost of enhancement. The maintenance cost is annually paid in advance by our clients like a subscription and on every renewal, it is afresh calculated on the basis of base cost of software + total enhancement cost incurred on it till the date of new maintenance cost calculation. The extension must be able to identify orders placed by a customer for particular products or category of products to address this scenario of dynamic price calculation.

2. Sometimes, we give discount on this dynamically calculated maintenance cost to our client. If your extension can meet the first requirement, then can it offer discount on the dynamically calculated price of maintenance?

Can your extension cater to these two requirements.

Hello,

Our extension can be used for initial purchases, however, it will not do anything during renewals since (most likely) they are handled by the system. Out extension only works in the frontend and requires active user session.

Hi, hope you are well!

We would like to add a Cart Discount only, where it’s 10% off for Black Friday. We don’t want to use Product Pricing due to various other rules on that page.

The issue is, there is no way to set it where only certain categories are discounted, and items from another category are excluded from the discount, but the discount still works if all categories are added in the basket (but only the set discounted categories get the discount).

Example: We have 7 categories in total. We only want 5 of these categories to have the 10% discount. If a customer adds any of these 5, they will get 10% off, and if they they add anything from the 2 excluded categories, the 10% discount won’t apply to these 2 categories’ items, but will still apply to any of the other 5 categories’ items – even if a customer added all 7.

Any help, as we can’t seem to set conditions for this to work on the Cart Discount page?

If no solution, is it possible to add extra and/or conditions to the Cart Discount page in the next update to allow this easily?

Hello,

It’s pretty straightforward actually: - Create a Cart Discount rule - Instead of “Percentage discount” select “Percentage discount per cart item” - Under “Items” (not “Conditions”!) add a “Product category” condition - List your categories in the multiselect field

This way only products from select categories will receive the discount.

I hope this helps!

Paul

Thanks a lot! It works :)

Hi, I’m looking for a plugin that allows me to create 3 member levels with different discounts, for example member level GOLD, SILVER, BASE. Can I create this with your plugin? But which also allows for different discounts per product category for each level, for example: I have 3 product categories Pizza, Cake, Donuts and three member levels GOLD, SILVER, BASE

For GOLD I want a discount like this: cat Pizza -> 20% cat Cake -> 30% cat Donuts -> 30%

For SILVER I want a discount like this: cat Pizza -> 10% cat Cake -> 20% cat Donuts -> 25%

For BASE I want a discount like this: cat Pizza -> 5% cat Cake -> 10% cat Donuts -> 15%

Also, I would like to assign level status to user after his registration.

So:

1. The user registers by woocommerce form;

2. The admin of website assigns a level membership to users.

EXTRA: Can I assign a custom level to user? Special member for example?

Thanks

Hello,

Sure, you can easily do that by having custom WordPress user roles. This would have to be managed outside of our plugin, however, once those roles are created and assigned to users, you can use our plugin to create all sorts of discounts and offers for your members and differentiate between tiers.

is there a demo i can check before buying

Hi,

Sure, just click on the “Live Preview” or “DEMO” buttons/banners on the Item Details page.

Here’s a direct link for your convenience: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-dynamic-pricing-discounts/full_screen_preview/7119279

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.

Paul

i am not able to see the demo, after clicking”launch demo”,it asks for username and password, my requirement is showing sale slogan like “buy 3 pieces and save 11%” in the product detailed page, just like: https://tiendadoremi.cl/producto/moto-electrica/

is it possible?

thanks

Hi,

Please try another browser, incognito mode or clearing cookies of the demo site. There’s a known problem that in some cases prevents repeating demo users from accessing a fresh instance of the demo site. Something to do with cookies/sessions but I haven’t figured this out yet.

I’m afraid the plugin does not offer such functionality/interface at the moment but I’ve made a note to consider it for the future.

Paul

Hi there,

I’ve made a BOGO rule from the demo.

Free product is the most expensive, is there a way to make the cheapest ?

Here’s the settings and cart : - https://ibb.co/tJFcJSS - https://ibb.co/kQ5gxgG

Thank you.

Hello,

Please change the setting “Quantities” to “Added up” instead of “Individual product”. Since only the cheaper product has a quantity of 2, the more expensive product gets discounted.

Paul

No support for this plugin. Avoid. Doubt I’ll get a refund but I’ll try.

Hello,

I’m sorry that you had to wait for a reply to your support request.

Your refund request has also been approved a while ago. If you decide to continue using the plugin, please make sure to purchase a license again as the previous license is now void.

If you have any further questions, I would be happy to answer them.

PRESALE QUESTION: I’m looking for a plugin that allows me to create 3 member levels with different discounts. But which also allows for different discounts per product category for each level, for example: I have 3 product categories A, B, C and three member levels GOLD, SILVER, BASE

For GOLD I want a discount like this: cat A -> 20% cat B -> 30% cat C -> 30%

For SILVER I want a discount like this: cat A -> 10% cat B -> 20% cat C -> 25%

For BASE I want a discount like this: cat A -> 5% cat B -> 10% cat C -> 15%

Is it possibile?

Hello,

This plugin allows to offer different discounts to different customers based on their role or capability. So if your differentiate between different membership levels on the basis of WP user role or capability, this will definitely work.

Paul

Hi. Your plugin breaks the site if the site runs on PHP 8.2. According to WordPress, we should use PHP 8+ versions.

Hello,

Thank you for reporting – we will fix this in the next version.

But please keep in mind that this is only a deprecation notice and does not affect the behaviour of the system in any way (i.e. this can’t break the site by itself). If you disable error display (which should be done on production websites anyway), the notice will go away.

I submitted support requests over 2 days ago.. How long do you guys take to respond? Slow support is a deal breaker for me..

The support for this plugin is a joke..

Hello,

I’ve responded to most of the support queries from the past days so you should have received a response by now.

Sorry for the delay!

Another pre-sales question: How compatible is your plugin with WPML now?

Hello,

There’s no full compatibility with WPML as of yet, I’m afraid.

Paul

Pre-sales questions: Does your plugin now support minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Or do you have a recommended plugin that can set MOQ that is compatible with your plugin? Thanks!

Hello,

This plugin does not allow you to set MOQs, however, it should be compatible with all (or most) of plugins that do that.

Paul

Pre-purchase question: I am using another discount rule plugin. After upgrading PayPal Standard to WooCommerce PayPal Payments Version 2.4.0, the other plugin works well until checkout. When I try to make a payment on PayPal, it shows the original price without the discount rule applied. I just want to confirm if your plugin is compatible with the new plugin by WooCommerce.

Hello,

There should be no problems when it comes to payment gateways. If you do, however, run into an unexpected issue, we will fix the problem or refund you in full.

Paul

There is a bug in the system. When you have Buy x get x – Repeating and add selected variation products & simple products into the product list then rule stops working. It only works if I only have either all variation products or simple products. I tried on demo site and it’s also true there. It’s a bug and should be fixed. Let me know if u need images to see it.

Hello,

If you add two or more conditions, they are joined with “AND” operator. So if you have a product and variation conditions, they must both be true for the rule to be applied.

Please check if you really need to target products and product variations individually. If you don’t, simply define either products or variations. If you do, you can create two rules with otherwise identical settings but target products in one and variations in the other one.

I hope this helps!

Paul

How to get the attribute sales date to an xml feed. I can’t find the attribute.

Hello,

Our plugin does not add any data to XML feeds.

If you need any data from plugin settings to appear in data feeds, you would have to come up with some custom code that would extract data from the plugin and add it to a feed.

Paul

Hello, is this a complete solution for a multi-seller ecommerce site so that it sings me for any other additions, and I hope that it is not linked to other websites ie that it is not cms tell me this, also I want to buy apps that are associated with it if they are available, I am very interested and thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Whether or not it will work for you depends on the specific implementation of your multi-seller store and your particular requirements.

For WordPress multisite installations, this plugins keeps settings separate from one site to the other.

Hi there,

Is there a possibility to show prices for registered/unregistered users, but only one price? Let me elaborate.

If visitor just came to a website – he sees one default price. But if he register and login to the website then there is a default price (which crossed out) and bellow that price is discounted price. This is how it works now.

Is there a possibility only to show discounted price for the logged in users without that original (crossed out) price? But in the checked out page to be both prices -original (which is crossed out), and discounted price.

Hope you understand what I am asking :)

Regards

Hello,

Sure, you would simply add the “User – is logged in” condition to your pricing rule and it would would exactly as you described.

If there’s anything else that you would like to find out about our plugin please let me know :)

Paul

How can I display “As low as” pricing on the product list page and the product page? I want to show the lowest price available from the bulk discount options.

Hello,

Showing “From $XXX” is currently not supported. We have received quite a few requests for this functionality so we will probably implement this in the coming updates.
