Hi,

May I ask if your plugin is suitable for the following?

1) Can an adult book three tickets for a limited-slots event (like 30 slots), where 2 tickets have a “regular price” and 1 a “reduced price” (for example, for a kid)?

2) Will this reduce three tickets from the availability or 1?

3) Will the adult be able to specify name and surname of all the three people before the checkout? (Not only the person who’s booking)

4) Will I be able to export this data in the backend as excel? I’d need to export name and surname of every person, not just the adult who booked those three tickets.

1) Different fares are not a feature (yet)

2) 3 tickets will be fully deducted from the availaiblity of course.

3) Although you can use conditional fields in the reservation form to achieve a similar behavior, this specific feature (names tied to the number of tickets) is not (yet) available.

4) You can export any data which was provided through the reservation form (please consider the previous points, though).

Yes, you can add a reservation in the backend by visiting the “Availability > Slots” section, and then click on the + icon button next to the desired slot.

is it possible with your TeamBooking plugin to buy multiple services (events) with only one payment?

We have multiple forms with related payments. We would like to allow users to pay only one time for all the interested events/services.

Currently, a “cart” feature for booking multiple services simultaneously isn’t available. This is due to the diverse nature of services that can be offered through the plugin, where implementing such a feature could restrict the ability to develop and introduce new functionalities.

However, you do have the option to book multiple consecutive slots for the same service. This functionality is designed to enable customers to extend their reservation time for a particular service or event.

I’ve been attempting to make a reservation using the REST API of the plugin (v2.6), but I keep encountering a “400 Bad Request” error with the message “invalid resource.” I believe this issue is related to the “reservation” and “slot” parameters in the POST request.

I’ve been following the documentation provided at https://stroheimdesign.com/docs/1_dev.html and setting the parameters as described in the “RESERVATION RESOURCE” and “SERVICE RESOURCE” sections, but I’m still receiving the error mentioned above. Additionally, I’m unsure about how to set some parameters, particularly the reservation ID.

Could you please provide an example of a correct POST request for the “do_reservation” operation?

First of all I would like to thank you for your great extension. Honestly, what you did is great (I’m also a developper and can appreciate that).

That said, I have a question: I would like to have an option to show whos coming to an event in the list view. At this moment I can only see how many spots are availabe, but it would be nice to have something like ‘attendants’ so that I can see from the fronted the names of the people that are coming.

i use the script for a restaurant, some people are not updating the tickets how can i change the label from tickets to Number of Persons, what file is it in. i try the translate plugin but it does not work

In order to change the strings, you have to edit the current translation file. I suggest to use LocoTranslate by following this guide (instead of creating a new translation, you have to edit the existing one you are using).

Thank you, will look at it again and let you know, is there a way to have services share the same ticket so i want to setup where if bucking is made from 1 to 6 automatic approval, if greater than 6 it requires admin approval i can setup 2 different services to do this but it does not use the same tickets, is this possible.

We have a problem with TheBooking.

A customer books a ticket with his email address. He then wants to book another ticket and receives the following error message: “Oops Trying to book more tickets than you’re allowed.”

We can also increase the number of tickets per booking, but we need a way to cancel only 1 of 2 booked tickets and not the entire order!

Good day, the plugin works quite well so far. I only have one question. I have set the time capacity of the service to 200 and the maximum number of tickets per slot to 20. I just don’t like the way the selection of tickets is displayed in the form. Can I adjust this? Many thanks for your help

I’m not entirely clear on your question. Are you looking to change the timezone that’s displayed in your backend? If so, it’s important to note that the backend, being a JavaScript application, automatically uses your browser’s local timezone. If your intention is to adjust the browser’s timezone – rather than simply accounting for the time shift when creating timeslots – you might find online guides like this one helpful: How to Change Time Zone in Chrome for Testing.

I have setup 4 services. Each with different prices. They all share 1 google calendar(Bookings) as source and destination. they all share same settings across.

Hall(Non Member) Hall(Member) Hall(NGO) Hall(Students)

Each Service has 2 slot from 9.00am – 3pm, 6:00pm – 12:00am.

Then I have all of these on a page.

I only show 1 service based on the login user meta. I achieved this when a user registers, I asked questions on who they are?

Example: Your country of origin/organization Type/membership?

My logic is based on different prices for same service for different users. We charge 4 different prices for a tier.

I want to block the slots no matter which widget was used. If user 1 booked on service 1 9:00am – 3pm User 2 on service 2 must not able to book on service 2 9:00am – 3pm.

I want to purchase this plugin. looks like very very nice plugin for calendar. But I have a question ? 1. Is the problem solved with common issue ” WP API nonce expired ” for logged-out users? I don’t want to disable this feature for the entire site. But this problem with calendars was common in other plugins *(I’m looking for the one where this problem is solved). What is the las version of plugin do not have this issue ? 2. Is this compatible with WP BAKERY o only for Elementor? in the documentation a can see only shortcodes for ELementor o HTML block. 3. 1) TheBooking doesn’t use a wp nonce for logged-out users on frontend operations.

2) While it doesn’t provide explicit widgets for WP Bakery, it is compatible with it by the use of shortcodes.

3) The plugin doesn’t use any internal caching system. If a caching system is present, it will be responsible for any caching (and potential caching issues). The plugin provides a way to exclude (or at least try to exclude) caching.

I recently purchased your plugin and have successfully added the service along with specifying the available days. However, I encountered an issue where the system indicates that the default time zone is set to America/New_York. I would like to change this setting as the operations for this service will be conducted from Venezuela. I want the service to appear to my clients in other countries with their respective time zones.

ok I did but I try using VPN to pretend that I am in another country but still says America/Caracas timezone, the time zone is not changing to the local timezone of the user.

The timezone of the customer is detected from the browser, it is a system detection, not a network detection, that is why your VPN attempt doesn’t work. There is no reliable way for a JavaScript application to detect the location based on the network without relying on expensive, third party services.

This of course assumes that in Settings > Core > Frontend > Frontend timezone you selected the option for the customer timezone detection.

Since december 2023 I updated my old version of the plugin (team booking calendar) to the one new (thebooking). This change apparently made my whole Wordpress site not able to render any images or the calendar when I’m logged out, however I see everything correctly when I’m logged in. I cleared the site cache, the server cache and the CDN cache and the server support told me there is an issue with this pluggin that’s affecting the images. Could you throw some light on this or suggest a possible solution? Thank you so much!

Differences between logged-in and logged-out states are invariably the result of misconfigured caching.

Regarding the server support’s assertion of an issue with the plugin affecting images, I would expect they have provided some technical insights or evidence (such as entries from error.log) to substantiate this claim. Please share these details with me, and I will thoroughly review them to address the potential issue.

Thank you for your reply. Apparently, the conflict arises that the variable is defined in the cache files and TheBooking plugin tries to redefine it when it loads

In version 1.4 of the plugin the developer loaded those variables from a JSON object to a var, in version 3.4 he makes a direct declaration with const, perhaps that is also where part of the conflict lies

There is no UI.php file in the plugin, and the line 50 of VSHM.php presents no issues per-se, it just defines an inline script with a JS constant.

Your caching system, whatever it is, should just not cache inline scripts, or at least have the option to exclude them from caching.
