Hi, since this recent update, the CRM creates multiple customer profile for a single customer. Most especially after giving a HTTP 500 error. It goes ahead to create new customer with same info, thereby having duplicate customers.
Hoping this is not applying to payment as well.

I have 3 pre sales questions.
1. Why does the client dashboard looks smaller compared to the admin or staff dashboard? Can the client dashboard look be exactly the same as the staff? I am talking about the look and overall feel and not the features here.
2. Can I completely customize which features/fields my staff or clients see? For example can I hide the Invoices feature from client?

How can I disable the Leads feature? By default, everyone can manage Leads and there is no option in the Role to turn off your own Leads. Is there any way I can do this?
Also turn off Media for everyone? I know that non-admins can only see and manage their own folder, but the goal would be to have no Media visible at all.

I haven’t been using Perfexcrm for a while even though I was generally satisfied with the tool.
I’m coming back to it after such a long time and thinking of purchasing support and officially start using it but the lack of API support worries me a bit.
Do you plan to add API support in the near future? I want to interact with Perfexcrm via API. I know there is a third party module for it but I would prefer this to be supported officially. The third party module might stop working tomorrow and I would have no way to fix it.

On both Perfex CRM and the third party API module the code is open, if for some reason it stops working, can be fixed.
However, as a module already exists for API, the best is to use the API module instead of we creating the same functionality in Perfex CRM.

CRON does not trigger automatically, the host says:
It doesn’t look like a server issue and would be outside the scope of our support, but checking for a read on stdin, it is directly referenced in your pipe.php script:
$fd = fopen(‘php://stdin’, ‘r’);
$input = ’’;
while (!feof($fd)) { $input .= fread($fd, 1024); }
It will hang on the above, as nothing is ever written to stdin so it waits forever.
I always have to trigger it manually from the cron section of the settings before it runs on the server.
