i ordered the Plugin, because i wanted to use the usage example from “BOXED GALLERY”.
The Problem is: If i use this skin and portfolio from the Plugin i just get a normal grid portfolio and not the special grid with different pictures sizes.
Thats the only reason why i bought it, can you please help me.

There’s an option for this purpose, just navigate to the “Grid” tab of your portfolio and set the ”Minimum of boxes per filter” to something greater than zero, for example 10

You have 2 options for this:
1) Use the default aspect ratio of your images, which will result in a masonry gallery with images of different ratios: https://www.castlecodeweb.com/wp-mediaboxes/masonry-gallery/
2) You can define a static aspect ratio for all your images, and the plugin will crop them automatically, which will result in a perfect square grid, like this: https://www.castlecodeweb.com/wp-mediaboxes/full-width-gallery/
The plugin doesn’t crop the image file, it crops them on the fly using CSS (in other words, the original file is not modified)

I’m trying to see if there is a way to get something other than just the Title of an image to show below a pop-up.
Currently I have “Popup Title” set to “Post Title” and all I will see on a popup is the title of the image instead of what I want to see which is the Caption for the image in question.
I’m wanting to do this because I want to keep the grid uniform on the gallery but tell the prospective client who’s viewing my portfolio, a little about the project in the popup.

If you are using posts or custom post types as the source of your gallery/portfolio, then you can go to a specific post and scroll down a little, you’ll see the Media Boxes settings/configuration section, in there you can specify the popup title to something else

Yes it is possible, under each item post you will have the option to add “Popup Additional URLS”, so they are not part of the grid, but they will show up in the popup when you open it

Ok, that does work, I guess the only bits I need are a way for it to indicate to the visitor that there’s more than just the single image since they can technically click an arrow from a previous image into that one and not know more is grouped with that (i.e. the small thumbs under the main one in my example)
The other bit is I’m not seeing any way to elaborate with detail text, what they’re looking at in the full screen version. I’m after a tight grid of thumbnails, and more detail once clicked (i.e. a large view with detailed text description either under or to the side of the full image)

Ohh I think I understand, unfortunately the plugin doesn’t have the feature to open the post URL in the popup “automatically”.
