Send Mail doesn’t work after new update. What could be the issue?

What is the issue specifically, is there some kind of error?
No error when I test the forgot password nothing sends to email tried 10 times but I changed both the env file for the mail settings and backend admin setting to smtp mail. Before it was working with just leaving it at sendmail but stopped after uodate.
Also changing the copyright didn’t work need the footer file.
please let me know if you have found the email issue?
it says mail setup sucessfully but when i try to send reset password nothing comes to my test user account
interesting but when i send a forgot password to my admin support account email it shows up but not on a users account email
Nothing was changed in regards to mail in recent versions. Perhaps there were some changes on the server?
Got mail to work it was a server issue but have another issue?? I’m tying to setup the javascript api map I put the code in there and everything saved but nothing shows for the visitor area maps??????
Do you mean the “Google maps javascript API key” field in settings page? If so, make sure you have google maps API enabled for that API key.
Which api is it? I can’t find google maps only found google JavaScript api that doesn’t work.
Also translate doesn’t work when changing any words.

Regarding translations, make sure you have them enabled from “admin > settings > localizations” page.
What is this maps api supposed to do? I notice there’s a visitor link in the admin area don’t see any of the maps showing anything???

But still don’t understand how to get the copyright changed I tried changing it and doesn’t work.

You should be able to translate copyright text from localization page.

How does this script read the “GENRE” tags from MP3 files that is uploaded? I analyze all tracks i mixed in key and then in Rekordbox and add tags as genre if its missing, artwork, and album. And bemusic read that automatic when i upload? How? Because BPM is placed in same id tag inside the mp3 file? So it should be a easy thing to fix?
Currently items in “genre” field on the mp3 file will be set as genres for track and not as tags.
Yes but forget tags for now, can you add to more script lines with the one that see genre and put so it read bpm and key also and put it on the track behind or i front where genre is ? Example: Progressive House – 128BPM – 12A ?

It will not import bpm currently, this would require some custom modifications.

You can change menus from “admin > appearance > menu manager”, you don’t need to modify code for this.
We spent time to change it on “Appearance” – menu – manager. Also look at genre: https://muusiq.fr/genres - rock, pop, electronic all styles and you have the same artists, normally they are different artists by category but nothing works

On windows you might need to adjust paths manually in “tsconfig.json” file so they point to “common/resources/client” folder correctly.

I can’t seem to find the instructions to add a track manually from a remote server URL such as http://www.myserver.com/music/mp3/song1.mp3
I tried to put http://www.myserver.com/music/mp3/song1.mp3 to the Playback source but it didn’t work and couldn’t play. If I paste that same url to Chrome then it works fine.
How do I add a remote URL to the Playback source? How about on the same server but at a different location i.e. /drivepool/mp3/albums/album1/track1.mp3 ? Thanks.

Hi,
This is usually due to mod_security module in cpanel blocking uploads. You can either exclude “https://m.iw/api/v1/tus/*” urls or disable it completely to fix this.
Even AWS s3 upload is failing, I have the correct access and secret key but they just fail. Do I need to create any directory on s3 bucket? Please help!

Yes. You can import only a specific artist by ID from spotify in admin area and disable all other automatic importing.

It’s due to insufficient memory available to BeMusic. You should be able to increase this limit from your hosting’s control panel, from php settings page.

If you need to add any custom code, it can be done from “admin > appearance > custom code” page.

If you only need to change text, you can do it from translations page in admin area.
Regarding CRON, it should be set to run every minute. BeMusic will manager the scheduling internally.

Updating every minute will cause performance issues.
You can translate it from admin area (site.com/admin/translations)

It’s not about the server, there are rate limits on spotify API, and updating channels requires a lot of requests.

Sorry about that. It’s “admin/localizations” and not “admin/translations”.
Regarding the footer, if you only need to change copyright text, you can do it from translations page as well.

Changes to the file itself would get overwritten with future updates. What is the issue specifically?

When I try to edit artists, albums, or tracks from the player, the page comes out blank, but when I try to edit it from the administrator it works correctly.
Even custom pages come out blank. All this happened after the update.
