Using Oxygen builder. If Load All Scripts is activated i can see the categories filter ( cssed ) however there are no thumbnails. If Load All Scripts is deactivated, i can see the thumbnails but css is lost.

Hello, I’m working on a project where I will be creating many teams and adding multiple members to each team. For example, if I create 250 teams and assign 100 members to each, that would make a total of 250 teams and 25,000 members.
My question is: would the website and admin panel be able to handle this amount of data? Would there be any performance issues or slowdowns?

Hi, portfolio items are just like posts so you can create a huge number of them and assign specific category (team) but you can’t show that huge number all at once. It will have to be a paginated page or with a load more button. Or potentially each team has it’s own page where you load just those members by selecting specific category to show.
Is it possible to select multiple filters at the same time?

Hi, yes you can rename that to whatever you want and it will display that. In the admin you will still enter text into “client” field but users will see different title.
i have an issue with the ajax query, i have created 2categories. it shows me correctly the number of my category to be queried (at load more) up to load more are all correct, but when i then reload, it also shows me double and triple an item from the other category. what could i be doing wrong or is there any problem with wordpress based on the version?

I just made the purchase and I’m having the problem that I can’t edit pages within the Breakdance builder, the existing pages like the contact or services pages that are not related to or do not involve the VibaPortfolio plugin. I will have a test server\subdomain on which I will make a website on WordPress (with your templates) – which I will later transfer\upgrade to the website that I have now (Joomla). ?Question. Can I activate your template on a subdomain (test site), then transfer it and reactivate it on the original site? Subsequently, the key\activation will only be on the original website (domain)
Hi, yes you can use this on your test site and then use it also on your original site.
Is it possible to implement a function in the display options, somehow custom, for ‘Portfolio Ajax Type Select – how do you want to open items with ajax: Modal – Above – Below’ or override with ‘inline’ so that it displays the content directly after the clicked portfolio item?
Hi, it would be possible but would require creating a new type. Maybe we implement that in the next month.

Hi, there is no option to show in between. There are options only to show above or below https://plugins.apalodi.com/viba-portfolio/features/ajax-slide-below/ and https://plugins.apalodi.com/viba-portfolio/features/ajax-slide-above/

Hi, seems you have some custom image lazy loading functionality. Try disabling that and check if the website is loading images correctly. WordPress by default adds the native loading=”lazy” to images below the fold so images should be anyway loaded lazy native.
Hi, I’m not sure about this, but if I disable lazy loading, will it affect the website’s performance score? If yes, then I can not disable this.

Hi Apalodi, I am really happy to see, that you continue Viba Portfolio after some time of silence. I just updated it on PHP8-environment and it works fine, like before. But I have another issue, that now appeared. I use the “masonry grid” display of the thumbs. On load, the thumbs don’t fill up the whole space (which should be 100vw in a 2-col-layout). Also the thumbs are only partly visible. When resizing the window, the thumbs jump into the right position and have the correct size. To me, it looks like some JS is not active on initial loading, only on resize.. Can you reproduce this error? Any idea would be very helpful! Best regards, Stefan
To be a bit more precise: the initial calculation of the “position: absolute”-values (left/top) is not correct. When resizing the window, the values are calculated correctly…

Hi, the 2 level filtering isn’t possible at this moment. We did add it to the list of things to do but there are other features with higher priority at the moment.
Hello. I appreciate the update (from September 18, 2023) recently released! It was a long time coming. BUT, the updated plugin breaks things. Custom CSS is gone. There’s a bullet point on top of each portfolio item. The initial view doesn’t load properly. ETC… I wish this update didn’t present so many issues that we need to fix across all our sites that use Viba. We have 4 sites that use it.
Hi, that shouldn’t be the case especially for CSS as that hasn’t been changed. Seems more like issue with cache that needs to be cleared. Could you contact support with examples where things break so we can see it and help.

On mobile devices how could we make the hover state be when they click once, then when they click again it actually takes them to the link?
I think the way it works currently is fine but is there a way to remove the Portfolio Hover Animations on mobile only? That way, when someone taps and holds it displays the Item Title.
Hi, it’s not possible to do that easily without changing some functionality. Currently we are using CSS hover. We would need to use javascript that tracks the amount of clicks (first clicks just animates and the second is the link).
