On iOS18, there is a problem with the RRectangle ComputedParticle. (Quick recap: when a block reaches bottom or merges with another block, an outline rectangle appears/disappears.) This is done via a Flame Particle.
With iOS 18, the canvas.drawRRect in blok.dart dropHighlight() & mergeHighlight() is not using the original blok’s X & Y position. Instead, it appears the Y-value is stuck at zero, and the X-value is using some very small value. I tested this with your original pubspec.yaml dependencies, and with updated pubspec.yaml dependencies (particularly flame: & flame_lottie:) Both ways behaved the same incorrect way.
Lottie animations are fine. It’s just that outline rectangle that’s wonky.
Can you get this to run correctly & post another code-update here? Thanks.
It looks like our author-developer has abandoned this product.
In any case, this issue appears to be similar to Flutter Issue #149970 https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/149970TLDR – There is a problem with Impeller renderer when using MaskFilter. iOS18 must execute Impeller slightly different than iOS17.
Workaround: In blok.dart, change all BlurStyle.solid to BlurStyle.normal.
