Hi, I would like to purchase the plugin but I need some information:
1) I can upload the already existing maps to outdooractive using the gpx file that I can download from outdooractive.
2) In the map created with your plugin, can I geolocate myself and have any user of the site geolocated and make sure that he can get to the starting point of the various routes?
3) Is it possible to use the navigation function of the path chosen by any user within the site page without leaving the site?
4) Is it possible to keep the user navigating the route with directions as a map navigator on the site without moving to an external site?
Thank you

Thank you for writing back to me. Yes, I did notice that in demos. My biggest concern is, which I wanted to clarify before making purchase;
1) Can this plugin pick data from already added listings on our site and show markers on maps? we can’t add one listing twice..
2) I see that markers show as soon as map is loaded. can there be an option that markers only show when a state on map is clicked? We will only have 50 states.
I appreciate your help.
Hello,
1. if you’re listing is a custom post type and latitude, longitude are saved as custom field or you have used ACF’s Google Maps field (Advanced Custom Field plugin) then yes, you don’t have to do anything else and these posts will be displayed on the google maps.
2. No, This feature is not available in this plugin. When a page load, it’ll show all markers on the google maps.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thanks
Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, it is a custom field. Can you please link me documentation on how to somehow connect and show markers? I want to be on same page before making a decision.
Sure! Please check this guide – https://www.wpmapspro.com/docs/how-to-show-posts-location-using-custom-fields/

Filter Map Listing By ViewPort is a useful extension for websites, allowing users to easily find desired locations and listings without searching through too many results. Simply zoom in closer to the direction where the target entry would be located, and all relevant information will be displayed within the designated viewport!
I am interested in purchasing. However this function does not work.
https://www.wpmapspro.com/filter-map-listing-by-viewport/I need the filter listings based on current map position. Can you show me how?
When I zoom or drag the map. The listing do not change dynamically. Please let me know if this have the function.
Hello,
Thanks for bringing our attention to this issue. We have fixed it – https://www.wpmapspro.com/filter-map-listing-by-viewport/
Though this extension is working fine and other clients are using this. We just had a typo in our demo so it was not working.

Hi there! After years of using your maps, they are no longer appearing on our website as of today. Would you have any idea what is happening?
We spoke to Kinsta (hosting) support and they said there is a fatal error.
[02-Aug-2023 07:57:48 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: in_array(): Argument #2 ($haystack) must be of type array, null given in /www/wherefit_610/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-map-gold/core/class.tabular.php:588
One of the maps would usually appear on our homepage – https://wherefit.com – just above the heading “Our Leading Fitness Partners”

Are we able to automate the file upload, byt that I mean, can we just tell the plugin where to take the file from, and update the map automatically?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us for support.
If you have your locations in an EXCEL File then you can use our extension – https://www.wpmapspro.com/product/excel-to-google-maps/ – You have to upload your excel file then maps will show all locations from the excel file directly.

Hi, the plugin seems to have what I need, I just want to know, if it´s possible to have multiple location spot, and every spot mark with a different color. For example I want to add a color for certain business and a different color for another business, instead of just having 1 color for every location.

Hi,
your plugin seems to have most of the functionality I need, so that is a great start. I have some additional questions before purchasing.
1. I read in other threads that I can connect the plugin to Custom Post Types made by Toolset. Does this extend to the custom fields, and custom taxonomies that I have made in Toolset? I would like to only use the Custom Post Types and related Fields and Taxonomies, and not having to create/import locations, fields and categories in the plugin itself.
2. I currently have one field containing latitude and longitude. It is one address field. Can I use that one field to geo-locate, or do I have to split it into two fields latitude and longitude, like in the free version?
3. Within what period do I have to cancel my order to get a refund, in case the plugin does not fully do what I expect?
4. The demo of the extension ‘Filter Map Listing by Viewport’ does not seem to work. Will the real thing work? I expect to be able to use the map as a filtering mechanism, for instance zooming in would filter the list of items below to show only those items that are on the map.
5. I use the Toolset Map block with the Google Maps API. Is there risk of conflict if I use both Toolset Map block, and your plugin? On the free version I get a black window instead of a map, would a conflict be the cause.
6. Are you planning to have a ‘heatmap’ type representation of clustering of markers?
7. Is clustering per category possible? I have multiple items on the same location, but three different categories.
8. When filtering the locations, I can use categories. Great. Can I use custom fields? For instance, one custom field is a date-field. Can I filter between two dates?
9. When creating maps, when I have to indicate what locations should be on the map, can I use the Toolset Custom Post Types, or Custom taxonomies to determine which locations will show on the map? In the free version I only see ‘select all’ & ‘deselect all’ options.
10. Do I need the extension ‘listing designs’ to be able to show the list of locations BELOW the map? Or should that work from within the base plugin?
11. Can I use custom CMS (or is there another way?) to determine the look and feel of the items listed below the map? The items to display are events, and sometimes contain many paragraphs of text.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out with your questions. I’m glad to address each point for you:
1. Absolutely, you can utilize custom fields to customize the infowindow messages, listings, and filter the markers on the map.
2. While we typically require two fields, we can implement a simple code to split a single field into two programmatically, making it work seamlessly for your needs.
3. Yes, you have the flexibility to cancel the order anytime and receive a refund.
4. We will take a look at the demo and ensure it is updated. This feature works well for many clients, especially when they have thousands of locations.
5. Handling multiple API loads can be problematic, but loading our API will work effectively for both Toolset and our maps. We can disable the MAPS API loaded by the Toolset plugin.
6. We haven’t received many requests to implement this particular feature.
7. With clustering, all locations will be grouped based on their proximity on the map.
8. Certainly, custom fields or taxonomies can be used for filtering the maps as per your requirements.
9. Assigning or deassigning custom post types’ posts on Google maps can be easily achieved through a meta box.
10. If you wish to display listings below the maps, you won’t need to purchase this extension.
11. You can apply CUSTOM CSS effortlessly to customize the appearance of the listing.
If you have any further queries or need assistance with anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to help you make the most of our plugin!
Best regards,
for 2. yes i’m interested in that option. It would avoid a lot of work.
Hi, I want to create a business listing directory. Can your plugin get integrated with a WordPress form (like a shortcode) or have a form built by this plugin, where the user enters Google My Business profile URL link in “the business listing form”, then the fields in the form autopopulate with the data extracted by your plugin from Google My Business profile?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us for support.
This functionality is not available in the plugin but I did some research and below are my suggestions to full fill the above requirement.
For the Form, You can use Contact Form 7 and add a text field there to get the business profile URL from the user and add other fields you want to be self populated.
I found that Google My Business Profile API – https://developers.google.com/my-business/content/overview is there to retrieve the data.
So we’ll write a custom extension for contact form 7 to auto fill the forms fields using business profile url.
Let me know if this solution is suitable for you. Please contact us at support@flippercode.com for further discussion.
Thank you once again for considering our plugin. We look forward to working with you.
Best regards,
I have looked at your previous answers to Airtable Plugin related questions. I would like to clarify a few things if you wouldn’t mind. 1. Is it correct that the map won’t read address data and create a marker from it, it must have two seperate columns with longitude and latitude instead? 2. How often does a map check the table for new records? 3. Finally, is there an alternative to Airtable where i can create a API POST or DELETE request to update the map data?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We appreciate your trust in our services and are committed to assisting you promptly.
1. Yes, Correct, We need latitude and Longitude to show markers over the maps.
2. You have to manually synchronise the airtable data with your wordpress site. So we don’t have registered any cron job yet to make it automate.
3. No, We don’t have REST API to update the maps’s data
We can customize this plugin according to your requirement if you consider our customization service. Please contact us at support@flippercode.com for any type of customization in the plugin.

Thank you for your prompt response!

Hello I have to ask a presale question: Can I connect the p.o.i. created by drawing a path myself or does the plugin have an option to connect the points automatically if required? In any case it is possible to create a path by myself? Thanks in advance.
Hello,
We have a drawing feature over the map so you can connect multiple points yourself.
Here are drawing tutorials – https://www.wpmapspro.com/topic/draw-on-maps/
The second way is if you create a route then it’ll automatically connect the way points.
Here are routes tutorials – https://www.wpmapspro.com/topic/routes/
