We’ve set it up, and it looks like it is working. Problem is, if you use an email domain that is not part of the white list, the error message doesn’t give any text to inform the applicant of what’s wrong. How do we add text to the error so new members know that they have to use a whitelisted email domain?
My dear friend,you can easily change warning message or modified it as per your own need.
According to my guess,only spammers or fake users will try to use fake,temporary or disposable email domains to bypass verification process. Genuine users always use authentic email domain.So,no need to change warning message. Such message is very useful to discourage spammers.If you know, what I mean to say.
I don’t know where the code is for the error, where I can change it in the PHP files.
The issue is, with a whitelist, someone may have a legitimate email account, from a legitimate domain that’s not whitelisted [let’s say ”@verizon.net”]. They won’t know what’s wrong, what kind of email address is recognized. So I need to update the error message, and I don’t know where in the code, to update it.
You already added translation for language key spammer_warning
Now,you want to change with own message.
Login into your website and open admin panel
please click on edit language and find language key-> spammer_warning then click on edit option,remove warning message and add new warning message here. save changes.

I just bought this addon for Wowonder script, and there’s no documentation. The “read-me” only says this:

I need to share a screenshot with you. There’s nothing in there but web files. I opened the documentation folder, and there’s only “index.html” and a folder called “assets”. Opening up the assets folder, there’s an “images” folder, and a “blueprint-css” folder. Neither folder has any documentation of what to do, or how to implement this.

Hi, wowonder is a social network script, I use it in multiple languages, I can’t put only a few email providers, wasn’t it quicker to make a list for fake emails? Creating a whitelist is not appropriate for a site like mine, I bought the script but from the instructions I understood that I don’t need it.
blocking each and every fake email ids and domains is impossible task for site admin.Its time consuming process and create headache for site owner.
As I mentioned in description spammers use temp or disposable email services to bypass verification process and complete registration.Or use abc@xyz.com kind of email ids to flood your website with incomplete registrations on your website.
Hence adding genuine email domains and service providers or own trusted email domains in whitelist which you want to allow to complete registration on your website is effective method and totally block use of each and every temp. or disposable email service
After use of this effective method,spammer unable to use temp or disposable email service providers to bypass verification process.
less headache for website admin

in the image it says we proxies etc can be bypasses… i bought the tool but i don’t see that feature anywhere… i was hoping to see a feature to target cretin region like lets say only people for NEW YORK can access no one else would be able to access my site… if it possible with any other add on or way to do it?
Hello friend, Please read description carefully.Spammers use proxy servers,temp. email id to bypass verification process and this add-on is used to prevent such activities and allow only real users to use your website. If we create such add-on which will allow users to access website from certain region(For eg:New York),spammers will easily bypass such method using proxy servers(they will use proxy server located in New York to by pass verification process).So,such feature is not useful.
