Hi,
I’ve just begin to work with a plugin, which bought some time ago. That is why my support is expired. Therefor I tried to solve all problems myself, and sometimes it is… difficult. For example:
-clean wp 6.2.2 system + AVADA theme ( almost 1 mln entities of Avada bought). Upload image into account or during member registration does not work -> that cause very old version croppic.js which is not compatible with new jQuery (not correct load function). Solution – activate jquery-migrate for that pages in function.php (it could be mentioned in the documentation, a lot of question about that here)
But some strange things are:
1) AVADA + UMP. Very often used Bank Transfer method, which sends text about transaction (Please proceed the bank transfer payment for:...) – inside AVADA this string at Thank you Page either ABOVE header and breaks layout (when header is some complex) or straightaway under the header (when it is simple) but BEFORE thank you text and ALL PAGE WIDE. This makes it impossible to work in the elite theme (all – WP, Avada, UMP – latest version). I think you should check and correct that render behavior with very stable AVADA.
2) But the main… misunderstanding – also with Bank Transfer section (Payment Services – Bank Transfer)/ There is tynimce editor for the text, which should be sent to Thank you page. Correct? Yes. Here it is:
https://bit.ly/3J4yIow
and now just magic – even do nothing, just click Save… The result
https://bit.ly/3N9AxSy
I tried that formatting and html character cutting at 2 different hosting, latest version of soft, with or without Avada – nothing changed. Even clean WP with only UMP – same behavior: the message sent into Thank you page as string without any formatting. It needs urgent correction.
The plugin is quite powerful, you need to use it, but the little things… Thank you!

Please confirm if there is a 1% fee paid to you, in addition to Stripe’s processing fees, for each IUMP Stripe Connect transaction.

I’m asking because I have to provide an adequate explanation to my client. This is my 3rd attempt to get an answer to this question.

If you have any technical questions, you may get in touch with support team.

Otherwise, you will get extra details inside public Knowledge Base: https://help.wpindeed.com/ultimate-membership-pro/knowledge-base/

I provided the administrative context for my question. Others, including prospective buyers, would also likely find the answer helpful in a similar context.

That said, your Knowledge Base states:

“Using the Stripe Connect payment service an additional 1% application fee is charged for payment processing and is used to support the Connect server. For Stripe Checkout payment service no application fee is applied.”

My additional research and testing confirmed the fee, and how it is applied.

Not sure exactly why you chose not to answer this specific query each time I asked, but it is interesting to note… and that raises further questions for me.

hello, i have problems with “password reset” (version 11.7) : “critical error”. Debug log : PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on null in /home/www/membres/wp-includes/link-template.php:431 and PHP Notice: fonction is_embed : incorrect PHP Notice: La fonction is_search : incorrect

(my support is no longer valid) could you help ?

Hi,

If you need any assistance you may get in touch with support team. Comment section is not an alternative way for this if you wish to avoid support subscription.

hi, but to pay 47 euros for a problem which is not my fault, it is not normal I think….........

and i’m not alone with the same BUG…............ please help

It can be configured, first configuration payment and after monthly payment. or the first configuration payment + one month payment and after only per month?

Your question is not clear, please elaborate.

I upgraded a client site today from v9.x of the plugin, and got a notice that the previous Stripe integration is now deprecated. The only option now available to process on-site payments as before is to use Stripe Connect, which incurs an additional 1% fee for each transaction paid to you… Is that correct?

What is incorrect about what I stated? Stripe Standard was the previous on-site integration for Stripe prior to Stripe Connect. To my understanding, Stripe Connect is currently the only on-site Stripe payment gateway (meaning payments are processed on-site). Stripe Checkout is off-site. is that not correct?

More importantly, I’m looking for confirmation if there is a 1% fee paid to you, in addition to Stripe’s processing fees, to use Stripe Connect. Is that also correct?

The reason I’m asking is because I have to provide an adequate explanation to my client.

Stripe Standard has been deprecated many years ago, not recently.

Are up to 10 payment services integrated into the system and In terms of on-site payment gateways are multiple options to choose from, like Braintree for example.

I appreciate your responses, but I still feel we are not directly addressing the crux of my concerns.

When Stripe Standard was deprecated is not my focus. The key point here is that in the upgrade from version 9.x of the plugin, Stripe Standard – which did not carry an extra 1% fee – is no longer an option. Now, the only on-site Stripe processing option is Stripe Connect, which does carry this extra 1% fee.

This significant change has increased overhead costs for my clients, potentially making the plugin less competitive for me compared to other membership plugins on the market. I’ve supported your plugin with multiple license purchases and support renewals because, until now, it offered a cost-effective solution.

My concern is about transparency and future proofing. When a change that has financial implications for your users is introduced, I believe it should be communicated more effectively. Moreover, I need assurance that further fees won’t be introduced without clear forewarning.

While I understand there are other on-site payment options like Braintree, it’s important to note that Stripe is often the preferred choice due to its own set of advantages. I hope you can understand these concerns and take them into account in your future development and communication strategies.

Pre-sale question

Hi, I am planning to create a site where I will have multi vendors, affiliated program for influencers and customers.

So I have these user roles Admin Vendor Influencer Customer Visitor( No account on site yet)

i want to hide all woocomerce pages except My account page, cart page, checkout page and single product page.

that means if i have a visitor or customer on my website he cant see any catalogue , any products or any category page. but if he has a direct link (URL) to the product he would be able to see and place order.

can it be done with this plugin?

Hi,

It is possible to create and manage custom user roles. You can restrict the WooCoommerce pages for unregistered users. However, unfortunately, direct link access is not a solution available to us right now. Our team is ready to help you with more in-depth details after purchase, thank you.

I have a valid, paid license not 6 months old for Ultimate Membership Pro and your support ticket request form will NOT let me file a support request, rejecting it due to an ‘invalid purchase code’ – as suggested, I have indeed typed the code in by had instead of pasting and it is still rejected. Sorry to say that you guys just make it too hard to get support. I’d appreciate it if someone in your firm would contact me via email and tell me how to open a support ticket without being rejected for an ‘invalid support code’ – right now, my assessment of WPIndeed support is not flattering at all.

Hi,

So far, there is no license of Ultimate Membership Pro purchased by you. Actually, no product from Envato marketplace has been purchased so far

Hello, firstly thanks for such a great plugin. I’m looking at purchasing a second licence for a second project. But I just have a quick pre purchase question.

Could I include a woocommerce product giveaway monthly as part of the membership?

I.e I have ‘product A’ that will be automatically given to all users who are signed up to ’Membership Tier 1’ monthly as long as their membership is active.

thank you! D.

Hi,

Your request is not possible to do with the default plugin workflow, it would require custom development work. If you still want to proceed, please fill out the form on our author profile for the development team with your request, thank you.

How do i revoke my license? i want to install it on a live site i owned.

i want to transfer registration key to domain a to domain b so please allow me to do this. remove key to domain A and assign it on the domain b. i dont have money to renew support only for this. so please look at this issue.

Hi,

I revoked the license, please try activating again on the new domain.

thank you so much bro…

Is there a way to base signup on LICENSE? and and assign a license certain amount of subscriptions?

Your question is not clear, please elaborate.

Is there a way to disable a member to edit their email address, first name and last name?

Hi,

Please, fill out a Support request with your concern, providing the necessary details to have a look from our side and the Support Team will come back to you.

Everytime I log in to my site I’m greeted with a non-activated UMP and the message “Your Ultimate Membership Pro plugin license is not activated and registered.” So I click on Register License each time and I’m transfered to Envato where I need to authorize that WPIndeed is allowed to connect with my account. I agree and it says “Your plugin has been successfully activated the License.” When I refresh the page it says “Your license for Ultimate Membership Pro is currently Active.”

Everything seems OK, for a day or two. The next time I log in, it’s the same non activated plugin again. Is there anything I can do to have this plugin locked on “Your license for Ultimate Membership Pro is currently Active”?

Hi,

Please, fill out a Support request with your concern on https://support.wpindeed.com/, providing the necessary details to have a look from our side and the Support Team will come back to you.

Now reading the comments I see that this problem occurs from time to time. Reading the reviews I also see that you have no solution to this problem. So thanks but no thanks, no support renewal for me. I think I’ll just delete the plugin, leave my review and forget about it.

Would you consider integrating with WP Fusion? I want to link 5 sites together and need to make a decision on the membership plugin to use. I’d like to use this one, but it is probably the only one not in their integrations. They’ve got their list of membership plugins here: https://wpfusion.com/documentation/#membership Thanks!

This kind of integration is usually coming from their side and not us. We’ll get in touch with them and provide our help for this process.

Hi, my support period has ended and I have a new domains I use, now I can’t revoke access to use licences on new domains, can you help with this request?

Hi,

I revoked the license, please try activating again on the new domain.

Can I let users of buddypress sell membership with this?

I’m getting around to adding/editing notification emails. I’m using the provided templates as a starting point. After creating and saving a “First Alert Before Level Expire” email template, I notice that the email is set to go to “Admin” by default. My questions are:

1. How do I change who the email is directed to? Logically, this email should be going to the user as a reminder to renew.

2. Is there a way to test specific notification emails?

After upgrading to the latest version, I see now how to test the notification emails; however, the notification emails are still being routed to the website admin and not the member/user.

Ok, I figured it out… There are separate ‘Admin’ and ‘User’ notifications in the ‘Add new Notification’ > ‘Action’ drop-down menu.

I’ve just bought this and installed successfully on wordpress but it won’t activate saying that the purchase key is invalid. I can’t access support through the support system either because of this. Please assist. This is the first time trying to use the licence.

Apologies, I have tried this again and it approved the license – perhaps there is a delay between purchase and when it will activate? All working fine now. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Hello, can I lock the whole site (it will be members only) and also have for example one day trial for discounted price? That will be one time purchase that will unlock all posts for one year and remind user to renew, that is possible? Does it works with LearnPress, so if I lock the whole site also part that use this plugin for online courses will be locked? And I can use all gateways that I currently have with Woocommerce? Thanks.

Hi,

You may restrict any content you wish, even all posts with one single restriction rule. You can restrict even the posts used as courses from LearnPress. Also, you may have subscriptions with discounted or free trial period, even if is about one day. Related to notifications, you may set up to 3 different reminder notifications and even one more after the membership has expired.

Can a person in the administrator role be added to a membership? Seems like if someone is a subscriber and they are added to the membership role and then you change the user to an admin it removes them from the membership.

Hi,

A WordPress admin has all the privileges in UMP, so they don’t need any membership. For other questions please address them directly to the support team via: https://support.wpindeed.com/
