Hey Tibi, that’s great news, however there are so many players that allow autoplay with sound on computer. The policy allows sound if the user has interaction with the website prior to visiting the video page. I already have that on my site now, so it’s not impossible:)
Ah, that I can do but it is not autoplay, your users when visiting the page 2-3 times or however the browser is considering to allow autoplay it will not work, in my book that is not an option for autoplay…

I have an issue and it is that I have to setup for each movie their preroll, mid roll, post roll and vast. Is there a way to create like a playlist or a configuration that I can setup the same configuration to all movies that I upload instead of configuring everything for each movie? thanks in advance

There is a global option “Keep shortcode generator input values”, set it to yes and the player backedn will remember the last input entries this way you don’t have to add again the VAST or ADS.
I am thinking for a better solution for this for some time now but I could not find a solid one, it is still on my list.

I’m using the WP RestAPI to load the post content in a modal/overlay.
Is it possible to initiate EVP when the content is loaded?
I’ve tried several other solutions and have not found one that can load the video – usually just an empty div.

EVP loads the video only when the play button is clicked, The player is very small so you should be fine using it even with your case.
There is also a feature that will instantiatw the plauer only when visible on the page, this might be useful in your case.
To instantiate the player when all xontent is loaded requires custom xode, if you are interested send me a private message.

You can store them on your server or a different server, the player only plays the videos, it can’t store the video files.

This is done server side, you need a live stream server for example an HLS server and that server will provide a link that the player can play, this is how it works.

Hi, is it possible to set an “overlay” on the video frame before the user presses “play”? For example, before the user plays the video, I can still click on the “share” and “watch later” buttons, since it’s a YouTube video. However, once the video starts playing, the “watch later” and “share” buttons disappear. I was wondering if I can select an “overlay” background on the video so that the share buttons are not easily seen.
I found the solution. I wish I could do this in the preset settings, not inside each video short code. But it’s fine, I’ll just need to copy and paste all my poster settings to each page.

I’ve been using this plugin for YEARS and love it so far. The only issues I recently had is that the video DID NOT SHOW UP on certain browsers. My students couldn’t access their lessons and it drove me nuts.
THEN I figured it out! The videos do not appear when AD BLOCKER is on. Now, I made sure to write that ad blocker needs to be disabled to view the video.
