Can the video player play the Youtube ads from youtube side. When i click full screen it just goes to the site full screen it doesn’t go full screen like youtube does
YouTube ads are ignored.
About fullscreen, try to set play inline to false.

Get the video URL from a normal video ex:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0XC-Piyuh8Replace the ID with the ID v=... with the short video ID, use this as the video source, and it will work.

So the plugin can’t support YouTube supports
It does, but you need to do the URL as I explained. I will update it asap so that it supports direct URL via shorts, but for now, use the trick I explained.

hi, when we use youtube videos with the plugin, player title, watch later button and share button still shows up for a limited amount of time,in the beginning . is it possible to hide them all the time?

There are about 3,000 videos on my website, and one of our partners has asked us to add an ad to all of them.
Is the only solution to manually insert the ad into each video? Could it really be that there isn’t an option to apply the ad globally to all the videos that have already been published?

I can’t give an estimate, now I am building my own store As soon as I finish 2-3 months, I will start addressing updates for my plugins I have more not just this one, all I can tell you is that is noted and I will address it asap.

Thanks for the quick response! As for the “perfect size”? Haha, that is VERY subjective (and a biased opinion coming from the author. Haha).
Ideally, it would not be image-based, and especially in this case, does not need to be, and there would be classes included in the div containers (there are none, which is extremely limiting) for better control of size, colours, and positioning, as the size/colour of the png image may be suited for some sites, but (in my case) not others. And it seems there’s nothing I can do about it?
(short of replacing the image and modifying the plugin code, which would be lost with each/any update)
I have noted this for future updates, but I have about 10k clients combined with EVp and UVP, and in 15 years, you are the first one asking for this feature.

Thanks, Tibi. I likely would have used a PNG for an X close icon 15-years ago as well, but I certainly would not in 2025. No disrespect intended. It’s a great plugin and I recommend it, but from the 10px Verdana type in the admin area to most of the skins, it feels outdated. A fresh coat of paint and UI refresh (front-end and back-end) would be of great service to your 10k clients, and perhaps attract 10k more! Cheers, and I appreciate your work.

I understand your comment that PNG has its advantages. I didn’t really take into account that when you minimize the window there are further controls. If the close button were separate from these controls, it might be easier to adjust the size and colours (if not position) of the close button. In any case, I appreciate your help with this, and fingers crossed for more flexibility in a future release!

The player works via shortcode, you add the shortcode in the page section in which you want to appear.
I am not sure what formidable forms is but it is not WordPress you can use the JavaScript version you can use that in any type of page or platform.

No that is not a shortcode it is an embed, the Javascript version can be embedded.

QUESTION before I purchase. I am looking for 1 – critical – function for our marketing. We need the ability to :
1 – silent autoplay the video on both desktop and mobile and have it play inline on the page and not pop out into a window on mobile – everything we do is for marketing purposes
2 – we need to put an image overlay on the silent autoplay video
3 – CRITICAL – we need the video to START OVER when the viewer clicks the image overlay to get the volume to play
This is a critical funnel marketing function, and – currently – no players in the wordpress space support this function fully. They refuse to do what is necessary to enable this function on mobile and it is critical to mobile funnel marketing.
