I see this is compatible with buddypress. Is there comment discussion options for the meme? Is the meme linked to a profile where you can see the other memes user uploaded?
The memes generated by users will appear inside his activity feed and can be commented
When I am logged out than nether the generator and nor the memes in the gallery load.
I mean it is not loading for normal users other than admin.

Can you also add gif make in it like imgflip com has?
you can also use gifs, but the final meme will always be a jpg, not an animated gif.

Is it possible to allow users to break lines in text? I noticed that even if the user breaks lines, all text goes in one line when the meme is generated.
I don’t want to add more lines to allow the user to write a paragraph.

I just enter a new line pressing the Enter key inside the current text box.
I got it. There’s a catch.
If I leave any small space after the words, it turns into one single line of text. For future versions, please consider breaking lines automatically to fit the text area width. Actually, when text meets area width, words get smaller and smaller. It would be great if text typed just breaks automatically.

Thanks for the feedback, I will look for a fix about the space at the end of the lines. We can’t automatically break lines, because it would be hard to handle the box resize feature.

1. Seems things have broke on the step: When we click on “Create a new Meme” button. This button appears when we create a meme ,besides Download Image button.
On clicking this “Create a new Meme” , nothing shows properly. The image is below the screen area and meme creation buttons seems to mal function.
Is it only me or others also facing this issue?
2. In mobile phones, seems its very difficult to decrease the font size as dragging corner is not possible always. Any other ways possible for it? Very important to be able to control font size as most of the users are mobile users.

Hello again. Just wanted to let you know that when I use the shortcode to “current author memes”, the shorcode: [mememe-list category=”0” thumbsize=”mememe-thumb” margin=”0” per_page=”45” columns=”3” author=”1”” sort=”date” class=”“]
This only displays the user 1 (admin) memes. Other users wouldn’t see their own memes. If I click on a user page, i’d like memes to display there of the actual author who created the meme. Hopefully that’s not too much to ask and thank you!

Can users upload meme templates directly to the meme templates gallery? Can users comments on generated memes?
The available templates can be uploaded only by site administrators, but users can upload their pictures anyway. The generated memes are custom post types, so they also handle comments, just like classic posts.
Can I enable gamification with wordpress plugin along with this plugin?
That gamifiction will give points and badges to users based on their engagement to the site.
Also, can it support buddypress profiles?

No, users can’t add templates to these galleries, otherwise they could fill your galleries with garbage. I don’t know that gamification pugin and how it works, I can’t say. Yes, Mememe works also with buddypress

If you work with buddypress and registered users, the block “generated memes” has also the option “Current author memes”, so you could create a page with that block, and each registered user will see his generated memes, including the ones created with his custom images uploaded (if any)
So, it means that there is a possibility of creating a small social media meme site with this plugin and buddypress?

1. In Chrome, the template page is showing images mostly one upon another like deck of cards, no issue in Mozilla browser. I checked in both Desktop and Android mobile. Am I missing any setting here?
2. Also,in the Mememe generator page , the image shown is too big. I want it to be smaller. Could not find any such setting. Is it possible?
3. Not sure, but seems the images shown in template pages looks little blurred or of lower quality than that of actual pixel quality of image.

Hi, loving the look of your plugin! Just a couple of questions before we buy 
Can it be restricted so that users can create memes, download or share them, but they’re not listed for everyone else to see in galleries etc? We would like the ability to list templates, use these and nothing else.
If we would like to not use the word ‘Meme’ but ‘Image’ or similar, is there any facility to change the text, or would this require us to edit the php files ourselves?

The plugin doesn’t include any image, you can upload what you want
What’s the best way to style (font/color) and possibly change the location of the save button?
The color can be set inside the plugin’s settings, further customizations can be done with css

hi there, i use wasabi for offload medi. everything works fine but “stickers” not shows up. if i disable offload images then it works. i know it’s not a problem from your side but may you get a small fix for this thank you

Admin option for live (ajax) voting on meme gallery would be very cool. Would keep users engaged on site longer. It gets tedious looking at each meme individually in order to vote, etc. Admin could enable/disable live voting on meme gallery page. The only data needed would be the vote count, it would not need to reorder the memes or reload the page. Each new page load/visitor would just have the latest “most voted” memes if that’s the admin preference.

Nice. Sorry could not see if admin or other assigned user role has ability to moderate new meme submissions? Is there option to require or not require users to login to submit memes? Is there ability to use it as a sketch/doodle (draw only mode with no images uploaded just a blank canvas where user draws & submits it?) Thank you.
New meme submissions can be moderated by the site administrator (like any other post type). Published memes can be possibly removed by the author of the meme. You can select the roles who can directly publish new memes, otherwise they will be pending. You can set a blank image as template, and not allow users upload their images. is there a way to make the up/downvoting a default function on the meme gallery page? at the moment you would have to click into the specif meme to be able to up/down vote
At the moment I’d say no, the gallery extracts only the minimum required data to stay light.
