Just follow my simple instruction to fix errors.

1) Go to YOUR_SITE => WP Import Export => Settings => Advanced options => Delete All Data on plugin uninstall => check it and save it

2) uninstall plugin

3) reinstall plugin

So if I pass in a Google Drive link (in my csv) the import plugin will import it with no issues? What about multiple images?

If your images are downloadable from google drive then it will automatically imports all images from google drive

It is not possible. Plugin not import anything automatically. plugin will just follow your instruction and only your files are imported. If you uninstall plugin, all files are automatically deleted.

background import work on WordPress default cron so it’s slow. you can set external cron for fastest performance.
