I’m not sure I understand what exactly you mean. You can open Filters -> Settings and select there conveinent view on mobile devices. You can use the button that opens/closed Filters widget as collapsible block. Or you can use Pop-up widget like it is configured now. Also you can disable all buttons and filters always will be visible, but in this case they take too much space on a page. So the best way is to use any button to open/close them.

I checked it on French page – it works correctly as it works on English. If you meant something another, please let me know.

Category B -Category C1 - Category C2

= It should only show “Category B and its children in hierarchical view”

As option you can try to exclude all extra Categories and leave only those which should be displayed. I mean use optoin “Exclude” instead of “Include”

I recommend you to use Loco translate plugin to create French translation. It has more clear UI and allows you easily to integrate translation files in WordPress. Also please create translation file in the /wp-content/plugins/filter-everything-pro/lang directory. After all you can disable Loco translate and use French translation without the plugin.

OK strange way to do it but it work… execept now I have make the 1.7.4 upgrade and all the translation have disapears because the folder is inside your plugin and not in the child theme for example…

I’m sorry that your translations were lost. To place plugin translation file inside plugin’s folder is typical practice for WordPress.

In general plugin translations is common question for WordPress at all and is not included in the item support here on CodeCanyon. Using WordPress items purchased here expects that customer is alreay enough experienced in WordPress to make translations by itself. Also there are a lot of articles about WordPress translations in the Internet and I recommend to read at least official WordPress documentation article about this problem.

Please, update the plugin to the latest verison 1.7.5 and after that try to re-save your Filter Set for this page. Before the update, please don’t forget to create a DB backup for any case. You can do it for example with Updraft Plus plugin.

Aha, ok. Thank you for your screenshots, I finally understood the reason. If you have one specific for the page Filter Set and one common (for “All archive pages for this Post Type” or for “Any Category”) the only specific Filter Set will be shown in this case.

To display two Filter Sets on the page both should be specific for the page (both for certain Category) or both should be common for these type of pages including your Category page.

Hello, ok thank you, the question remains, why do the other plugins work ok then and yours has conflicts.

There are tons of people that will have no choice but to use a perma-link manager as they convert many other technologies, many that will be lost without it.

Maybe you can just allow us more control over the the way the permalinks work inside your software or use the standards, then this issue should not be present? It does seem like you auto remove anything we try to incert’d inside the fields to bypass an issue like this, so it matching the defaults link structure we need.

We would would be a great test case for you as we have a huge arrow of filters and over 30,000 sku to filter inside, so it would be the biggest test case you have yet.

Correction I was able to get this to work now, by changing the permalinks to match the theme’s defaults, also which in practice your plugin is better than anything else we tested and we tested them all that we could find. Many have great features sets, but are just to slow in practice, whereas speed and stability are key with such a large dataset.

Either way we are getting closer towards what we want, we just need more design control’s and link control and all should be well, we hope.

The only things that still doesn’t seem to work well yet, is when an item is on sale, using _sale_price doesn’t seem to work for unknown reason yet.

It’s great news. I’m glad that you were able to get it to work with Permalink Manager.

Regarding filter by “On sale” status. Sometimes it happenes that WooCommerce does not remove the field with meta key “_sale_price” for products that had “On sale” status, but their price were changed to regular. That’s why Filter Everything PRO may “thinks” that such products sitll are “On sale” although in fact they are not.

To soleve this issue you can try to open phpMyAdmin (you can install such plugin in your WordPress) and execute next SQL-query:

DELETE FROM `wp_postmeta` WHERE `meta_key` = '_sale_price' AND `meta_value` = ''

It will remove all such extra meta fields that are empty but were not deleted before.

Do not forget to change the SQL-query with your DB prefix and to create DB backup before any manipultions.

I recommend you first time to configure Filters Set without Apply button mode. Just direct Filter Set to “Common WordPress pages” -> “Search results page for selected Post Type” and ensure that it works at all. After you can try to setup “Apply button” mode.

BTW, Filter Everything filters default WordPress search results. And also it can filter search improved by 3rd party plugins. But only in case if this search based on WordPress default algorithm (when search result page URL contains parameter ?s=searchkey) Search plugins with another algoritm may not be compatible with Filter Everything.

I think you can realate it with filtered WP_Query using hook ‘wpc_filtered_query_end’ that passes through itself already filtered WP_Query. Please, try to find it in the plugin’s code and you will understand how to receive correct posts list on paginated pages.

I did a bit of additional research. On mobile it is suppose to allow you to select your filter parameters and then you submit or cancel which makes the filter menu go away. What I am experiencing on mobile is when the user select a filter parameter it immediately hides the filter menu leaving just the overlay tint. It is not allowing me to make multiple filter adjustments and then it submit.

Thank you for your reply. I have lowered the slider steps from 50 to 10. Now it works again. I think the problem was that the values of the products themselves are not in steps of 50 but in steps of 10 and the slider has problems here because of that.

No, there is no limit for the plugin work period, but if you did not enter license key, it works only two months. If you got “Unknown error” it could mean that your server block outer connections or it has no connection with connect.filtereverything.pro server.
