Unfortunately no, but I guess it’s possible to disable the activity log for events as a whole.

Hi Zhivko. This is still a brilliant events calendar! So I want to ask if there can be a better long-term way to support your work, and to communicate issues that occur in the software (like all software) which need to be fixed for everyone. – For example, right now: (1) the entered ‘Short Description’ disappears each time an event is edited, as it did before you fixed it 9 months ago: #3019671. (2) Google Search Console registered two pages for every organiser because the links to organisers from the list and from individual events lacked the trailing slash, resulting in 301 redirects. I have added trailing slashes in your PHP files, but I fear you may do something different in your next update. (3) The list of organizers inevitably becomes very long with full descriptions, so doesn’t function as a useful list, and Google complains of too many social links. But it’s not possible to make the list only extracts, with fuller details on the individual organizer pages, because the canonical url is only for the list. I have edited PHP files to create a solution, but again I fear you may have a different solution in the next update.
Things like these are potentially useful feedback, not requests for individual “support”. They may inform your software updates, and/or produce useful solutions for all in the open tickets. So… I am asking if there can be a new long-term way for us to raise and solve such issues for the shared benefit of all? It should not cost us $51 individually each time, but just provide a long term way for us to financially support your work on this calendar.

1.) can i change labels – instead of tickets to spaces – or instructor for the event organiser?
2.) In bookings can i set specific payment for each event – I have some instructor ( yoga teachers) that will deal with their own payments – so it could have pay instructor and it does not take a payment but still makes a booking – hope that makes sense
3.) Is it easy to set recurring events / classes

1) Yes, the calendar uses .pot file for translation purpose.
2) I believe it’s not possible without external WooCommerce plugin. The default WooCommerce installment don’t have this option.

cool is there any way you could add an option in the event creation tab to utilise this free plugin which looks like it will do the job, save having to go in manually and select it each time

Do you have option to export your events to .ics file?
If so, you can test the calendar import function here:

To import events go to Dashboard – >STEC -> Import Events and scroll to “Import .ics Events” section.
Select your .ics file.
Uncheck “Don’t import expired events” if you want to import expired events.
And click the green button “Import events”

I only need the events to be carried out from the buddypress groups and that they appear in the groups in which they were created, is this possible?

Go to Dashboard -> STEC -> Calendar -> Edit calendar and in Visibility and Back-end Visibility settings select the Buddypress group you want to have access to this calendar.
However, you will have to display the calendar on separate page. The next version of the calendar will display it directly in the group page.

To use Google Maps you will need API Key.
As an alternative the calendar supports OpenStreetMap which does not require API Key.
To switch to OSM (OpenStreetMap) go to Dashboard -> STEC -> General -> Map Type and choose “OpenStreetMap”

No, the calendar uses its own menu for creating events.
The next version again will use its own menu. The difference will be it will be react driven and will extensively use the REST API.

well, something like a ticket or a message for the event creator, the visitor its not needed to create events, but as a school the parents will want to know about the event so they write to the school to know more about it in the event, something like a ticket or request or questions for events.
There is no special ticketing system for this.
The event organizer can leave social links for contact (email, viber, messenger etc…). These links are visible at the bottom of their “About” description. Additionally you could open the event’s comment section or leave contact information directly in the event’s description.

Note once the translation is complete you can uninstall loco translate.

When you add new language loco translate will ask you to choose location where to store the language file.
Select “plugins/stachethemes_event_calendar/languages/stec-{locale}.po”
After you are done translating I’d recommend you to make a copy of the folder “wp-content/plugins/stachethemes_event_calendar/languages” and keep it somewhere safe.
