How can I change the background color of the default branded download page?

You can change that in the file downloads.php located in the plugin folder at storage/plugins/filehosting/views/
Bug: ads are shown regardless of the plan, if paid plan ads should not be shown and there’s no way to disable it.

This is not a bug but I see what you mean. We will change it so it only shows for non-paid users.

I don’t see this option anywhere: You need to upgrade the database. After uploading the plugin go to Admin > File Hosting > Settings and click on Upgrade.

It would be interesting if guests could upload files without logging in, most users do not log in, and money is earned from advertising.

A few thoughts for the roadmap:
1. Adding the number of times downloaded per link per date would be very helpful.
2. Admin needs the ability to fully manage files downloads, including pausing them, deleting them, and editing them.
3. Adding a location to store files would be fantastic! AWS, FTP, Etc…
4. The ability to manage customizations such as: Meta-tags, Geo, device, pixels etc… from the file upload would be very helpful! Users don’t like adding the download and then having to go and make changes to is from the link management.

Thanks for the feedback. I have noted the suggestions. Some cool features are coming in the update this week.
This plugin should have: - import from url or folder Some time take to long to upload like 45GB files from browser. So i do that by ftp and then i can use direct link (.zip,.rat,.mp4,.pdf, etc) or scan a folder . At this stage don`t help me - edit info make it better -admin should have the permission to see any files even if expire

Thanks for the suggestion. We have added the feature for admins to see all download pages and download files regardless of it being expired or download limit reached in the upcoming update this week. As for large files, I have noted this and see what we can do.

At the moment you will need to manually update but we are working on an automatic update feature for plugins and themes. Right now it is still very easy. You just need to upload the plugin zip file contained in the file downloaded from codecanyon via Admin > Plugins > Upload and that is it.

At the moment they are stored locally outside of public reach as it is much faster to process the download, especially if you enable Encryption.
Great plugin! What would be amazing is that if a user sets up a download on their custom domain, a logo they have assigned to each of their domain is used on the download page instead of the site logo.
As an alternative, you could expand the functionality to be able to add an individual logo when a user use their custom domain for setting up a download.

They are stored locally at the moment as it is faster to read them and download them. We will be adding an option to download via CDN soon.
I was asking about this plugin for so long, now I have it, also have some new questions
1. Will it be compatible with SaaS Theme?
2. Can anonymous users do an upload with some limitations? Can we define limitations for logged/not logged users?

1. A major update for the saas theme is coming in by tomorrow night.
2. Not at the moment however that is on our todo list. At the moment the limitations are based per plan. Also in the next update of this plugin you will have the option to set size limitations per plan.
File will be stored in Object storage hosting like DigitalOcean Spaces, Wasabi? Or within website Installation directory?

At the moment they are stored securely in a private location locally. Although the main script supports upload to External Storages, the reason it does not upload is mainly performance. We ran several tests and it is much faster to download if stored locally.
this looks neat and Nifty, afew questions .
1) does it support adding custom extensions like .exe
2) does it support or can you implement custom generated Link. meaning a user lands on a page, enters/ fills a form, Name, email, phone number, then after doing that, a unique link is generated. with option for the form data to be exported as embed code for other website. this will be cool for data collection before a download is made.
If i have an ebook and need to collect details before download of the Ebook, then i can create a form, let users fill in the form, then a unique link is generated. the same form code i can embed to my website

wonderful, i am glad you like the idea, i hope you can consider adding it, it will add more value to the addon, since most people that make use of this script is to create personal profile and improve their personal branding, if they can upload their pdf docs, and capture user data for users wanting to download files, cool thing.
can also be used for CV downloading.

Yes. I added these features after submitting the plugin to codecanyon and did not want to cancel it and submit it again because it would push it back to the end of the queue again.
We are waiting for update, specialy these:

or just rename filehosting path with something else like example.com/d/......

Definitely. The “filehosting” is just for the demo. It will use your root domain for links. If you installed the main script on https://example.com, then the file link will be https://example.com/SOMEALIAS – just like how short urls work in the main script.
