This is an app template. You need to develop backend and integrate api on it.
This code is so OLD. Still written in Class components, not Functional components. And the React Navigation is years behind. It’s version 4 which is not supported anymore. Needs to be at least version 5 or even 6. Please update the React Navigation version ASAP

We are using
- react-navigation v4.4.4 – https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-navigation
- react-navigation-stack v2.10.4 – https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-navigation-stack
Both packages are latest version(Please visit above link to ensure) and run perfectly with latest react native version and expo version.

BOTH are very outdated. The code on each screen has to be completely re-written to do anything meaningful from 2020 onwards, or have a sustainable app on the app market for years to come.
react-navigation is now @react-navigation/native and is on version 6.0.8, react-navigation v4.4.4 is no longer supported.
react-navigation-stack is now @react-navigation/stack and is on version 6.1.1, v2.10.4 is no longer supported.
You have to UPDATE this to at least base v6 for navigation.
Even the components use CLASSES, not FUNCTIONAL components which is now ancient.
