Hi,
I duplicated the ‘altum’ theme and created a new folder ‘altum-modified’. After this I changed the theme path in /app/init.php.
Changing the init.php file after every update is time consuming and sometimes I miss this step after an update.
Is there an option in the frontend to choose the theme? If not, please consider this as a feature request. Also do you suggest a different approach?
I haven’t noticed but it would be great if you could give us a list of modified files when you release an update. As mentioned earlier, after each update going back and making the changes again is time consuming, with this list we can easily keep a track. Sorry if you already provide this list.

For now, such feature is not planned as an extremely low percentage of people actually want to change the theme.
The only way to change the theme is like you said, via the code in the init.php file.

Yes, it is possible to do that, but you would need to add this code manually and use the available code variables (email, user_id..etc) in order to pass this data dynamically to your javascript code. Keep in mind, this is a bit more technical, so you would need to have the knowledge (or to ask a dev to implement the code for you based on your needs).
The code can be added in the themes/altum/views/wrapper.php file, for example.

Hello, i have found the extended license but $499 just for the payment system is not needed. Due to me thinking I would be able to at least utilize this for my company, I cannot, it does not provide you with any QR Codes and it does not state that in the description when reviewing the script. All it has is for users to purchase the extended license if we want to use the payment system. If we are not using the payment system, I would think we could use it for our businesses. This is not the case, due to me not being able to use this script for anything deems it “not as described” in my book and would like a FULL REFUND. I just purchased the regular license on Sept 5th and the extended support on Sept 8th thinking it was the extended license, I have only had this for 9 days total. I understand the extended license but to not have access to the features for our business does not make sense to me. The script is basically pointless without owning an extended license. I literally cannot create 1 QR code.

It is clearly mentioned in the description of the product, text + images + envato terms of license (written by envato) that you must purchase the extended license to use it for business purposes.
If you want to use it for yourself (without any payment related features) then you are good to do so.
No other features are blocked, awac2020.
You can create as many QR codes as you want. Your own plan is editable from the admin panel.

You need a developer that knows: PHP, MySQL (backend) and HTML, CSS, JS for frontend.

After the latest update, I can no longer create bio pages, although the limit for the user is -1.
Existing bio pages are displayed, new ones cannot be created
