Our live music library works with EDD, custom filters and AFC etc. Can your player fetch EDD downloads (custom posts)? So basically, replace the native wp audio player.

This looks amazing, I hope to buy. 10 months ago you said there is no WooCommerce integration. But the demo has a filters for “price, access, sales, license”, and the tracks have a “Purchase” button. Did you add support for Woo since? Or what how can this work with ecommerce?

Ex: I upload an ambient album which all the tracks in it match the same bpm, keywords, mood, instrument, genre and picture, is there a way to upload all of them in batch and having these categories preselected so I just have to update the preview (mp3) and download links?

When you upload songs in Wordpress there is no way to automatically read these tags as far as I am aware.
There used to be an option to upload a json file (which can contain all the song properties and keyword), but currently this option is not included. We may add it back if there will be a lot of demand.

Yes, it can be a time saver but of course not essential. I can upload all the tracks in the playlist with the “upload multiple songs button” but what if from there I can manage all the keywords at once instead to open every single song and edit as needed?

The documentation is nice, please consider expanding to indicate/explain any js call backs to add any custom handlers. For e.g. I want to have button on songs like this button, or gear icon to change theme, like blue color etc.

As i mentioned before, i run it locally on MAMP PRO, a Basic Lamp Stack (Apache 2.4.46, MySQL 5.7.34, PHP 7.4.21) on my macbook. The link i sent you by PM is exactly same setup as my local environment. Have you tried it out ?
Please also note that this issue is not related to my hardware, i have tried it on other servers with other configs, for example at namecheap shared hosting, same results with audiofilter.

First of all, wow, great update!!!

SONGS DOES NOT PLAY
Today i updated the plugin, now all songs are not playable. i have checked everything you can imagine, no luck. Everything shows up as normal, but songs does not play. If i look in admin end press on any track (under playlist manager/Playlist tracks/track ) all fields are empty, and even if i fill it out again and press save, its gone when looking again. Note: I have updated the plugin as i always had, (as you descirbe in your documentation) never had any problems before.
RELEASE 4.0 BUGGY ?
So i decided to start from scratch. I installed the plugin on a completely new wordpress install.
1. After installing, First i create a player. No problems
2. I go to playlist manager to create a new playlist, pressing on the “add new playlist” nothing happens. I does NOT create it or anything. So this is where it ends unfortunately.
Any Ideas ?

I am running locally on my development server, so i cannot give you access, i am running a MAMP PRO Stack (apache, php 7.4.2 and mysql) on a macbook, it is a very Basic setup, never had any problems with it. I even tried a fresh new wordpress V5.9.1 + audio filter v4 on 2 other servers with other specs, Nginx and another litespeed server, same issue, so something must be wrong with audio filter v4.
Once again: It did break my earlier setup, as i explained no sound and no data after last update to 4.0, and also when trying with a fresh new wordpress V5.9.1 and audio filter plugin, still cant create a playlist, nothing happens when pressing the button to create it. Has any system req. changed ?

Ok, here is what i found just playing around 5 minutes with a fresh new Wordpress 5.9.1 + audio filter 4.0
- Adding new player is now working when pressing on the button.
BUGS.
1. Songs still does NOT play after succesfully adding them. Checking the song info, all fields are empty, seems all info is not being saved, specially the path to the songs.2. After successfully adding some random songs, i created some extra filters, mood, instruments etc…. going back to songs and press “edit” a song, nothing happens when pressing on the “edit” song link. This worked before adding filters, now its broken.
3. Cant add any new songs either, this also happened after creating some filters, (it worked before creating filters) nothing happens if i try to add new song, the button does not work, its broken.
SHORT SUMMARY.
- Songs not playing- When adding filters in admin, 2 things stops working :
None of the “edit” or “add songs” buttons works.
Please fix these issues,

I did spend some more time testing audio filter v4.0.
I started over again with a fresh new Wordpress 5.9.1 + audio filter 4.0, nothing else installed.
This time i did create some filters (mood, genre ) BEFORE adding any songs to see if i get a different result. This resulted in the 2 buttons “edit” or “add songs” to work. As i mentioned earlier, creating filters (mood, genre ) AFTER adding songs give other nasty bugs, explained in my earlier post above.
Anyway, so i did add a song, uploaded a song, entered the song info etc and pressed save. Music shows up on the website, but does NOT play, also filters does not work when pressing on them. For example, i set the song to POP and Euphoric, pressing on these filter says “no results”, so not working. Going back to admin again, pressing on the “edit” song, all song info is gone, vanished.

Still 2 crucial things does still NOT work.
1. Music does not play2. Filters does not to work. I have tagged some of the music with genre and mood in admin. Checking the site, pressing on any of the songs related genre or mood, gives ” the messages no results.

I have followed the plugin documentation properly. This does not solve the issues i mentioned. Music is still NOT playing and filter does not work. This is not related to my server setup, nor its related to my website. I have tried several fresh copies of WordPress ( noo extra fuzz (theme, plugins installed ).
As i. mentioned earlier, to phase out that its not a server issue, i also tried it on other servers with with different setups (Apache, Nginx and litespeed server ), i get the same results.
You can clearly see the issues in the clip i posted above. There is nothing more to add to this.
I am not here to criticize, this is a fantastic plugin with huge potential, i just want it to work, as it is right now, its not working.

I really love what I see and read. Can I ask if the end-user playing on his device this player can make his own playlists and what is the save button for the user? Something like favorite? If a user (not admin) can add songs to his own playlists how can he access them later? Also, I don’t see any shuffle and loop buttons in demos, I hope these exist, right? This is a definite buy if the user can make playlists or at least make favorites that the browser will remember and of course have the shuffle option.Thanks

Save button is made to create a playlist in backend from the current songs, so end user can create a playlist in his lists of playlists. Playlists are per plugin, not per user. Then this playlist can be loaded in the player as usual. You can set shuffle and loop songs from the backend admin.

So each user makes playlists that every other user can see in some kind of playlists folder or drop down menu? This is not what I was looking for because everyone wants his lists to be private and most do not care what other people have as lists and what if some users give funny names. I mean that the admin advices for recommended playlists and every user saves his own that no one else can see. Will there be a list of playlists names somewhere? If I did not understand please correct me. If you can share a photo of playlists that would be great! Thanks!
Hello, if it is not already present, I mean the option to save a private user’s playlist by a chosen name that he can recall at any time and at any session, maybe it could perhaps get implemented with a reasonable fee? The “save” option you already have should point to which songs would be added to a certain playlist, after the filter options as already present like for instance “vocal” and then “pop” which would show say 100 tracks. The user would have as favorites for instance say 60 tracks, so by saving a “named” playlist he can recall these 60 tracks by just loading his saved playlist. I hope I made it as clear as possible. For playlist to be saved for each user individually, this would require for a plugin to have some kind of user member section, which it doesn’t.
User playlists are not private. Not sure what you mean by reasonable fee.

Hello, thank you for your answer, so If I made myself clear any user logged in that has a “role” attached (playlists will be saved and loaded privately for any “role” user) will be able to have a folder where he can name and save any “filtered” song tracks that he can recall at any time loading from his private playlist folder. Will he be able after filtering songs by genres and keywords that would perhaps produce 100 songs, to choose to keep only 60 of those and name a playlist? Maybe with a “delete” button to take out from playing list? Thanks!

For example: if a merchant sells his audio products, he uploads an audio file, as an example, through a short text and a description. Wavesureve was used for this, and the product appears inside the single page, but is it possible to create a new page using Elementor and be titled Audios, and users can search for any products available on WooCommerce, or does the filter work with its own playlist and the music you play on it?
This works with its own audio playlist. There is no WooCommerce integration.
Is this customization available for implementation and what is the cost of this?

Let me explain: Instead of have all keywords assigned to the songs, it would be a great improvement having them a bit categorized (having them under different titles). Let´s take your example again in your demo, as it is right now you have Genre and Keywords.
Now if we categorize the keywords a bit we could have a better overview of the keywords, for example:
Keywords
Mood ( Category / Title ) Happy, Sad, Angry (keywords)
Tempo ( category / Title ) Fast, Slow, (keywords)
Instruments ( category / Title ) Piano, Guitar, Organ (keywords)
etc….

This is a prefect filter, only 2 really crucial functions missing, one has already been mentioned earlier in the comments section.
1) Has the pagination functionality been added when the playlist is displayed on the web page yet ? If not, when could it happen ?
2) Could you make the search function to include the genres and keywords please, as it is right now it only searches for the titles or track names. This is really needed when many songs start to add up, users 99% searches for the keywords.

Lets take your demo as example: Basically, instead of pressing on the keyword “sad” it should be possible to search for the word “sad” in the search input and it should list all the songs marked with the keyword sad, just like it would show when pressing on the “sad” keyword.
This is really needed when having lots of keywords and songs, normally users tend to search for the keyword rather start looking in the long list of keywords.

So far this plugin has been a waste of time and money as I need to work with thousands of songs and the plugin wasn’t well thought out.
MAJOR ISSUES:
1. The music tracks are listed in the order they were added in the playlist. You should have the option to list tracks by song names alphabetically.
2. There’s no pagination when you add tracks to the playlist. If you have hundreds of songs, you need to do a lot of scrolling to press the Add New Media button at the bottom.
3. There’s no pagination when the playlist is displayed on the web page. So if you have thousands of songs it will display them all in one go.
MINOR ISSUE:
The waveform is not displayed until you press the Play button. When you add a track, it looks like it has a “Waveform peaks” entry under the “Media section” but doesn’t look like it’s utilized.

That is correct, waveform data is created in admin area when you upload songs, so waveform can be drawn immediately when song is started in page, otherwise when song is started and there is no waveform data, whole song would need to be downloaded for waveform to be created.
