Hi! after last update to mailwizz 2.1.16 now I can NOT delete recurring campaings…. so I have running a newsletter with errors I can NOT stop sending or delete.

This is other problem… I can NOT stop the sending of faulty mailings… why I can NOT stop the campaings???

We just checked and there’s no issue removing any type of campaigns, so try to clear your browser cache, and the app cache ( https://www.mailwizz.com/kb/clear-cache-command/ ) to be sure everything is fine.

I just bought the regular license of Mailwizz but i need to convert it Extended, how can i do it?

You’ll have to get the extended one then reach out to our support and provide both licenses and we will refund you the regular one.

Alternatively, you can ask Envato do this, but it will take quite some time since they’re generally much busier than we are.

I think Countdown feature (i mean this > https://www.mailwizz.com/kb/how-to-add-a-countdown-to-an-email-template/) has an issue. After counting 60 seconds, minute counter returns to start. For example i initially see 01 days 11 hours 45 minutes 35 seconds.. Whet it reaches 44 minutes 35 seconds it starts from 45 minutes 35 seconds again.

That’s expected and the documentation covers this properly.

You can increase the number of seconds/frames from 60 up-to 180 by setting the “max-frames” param when creating the counter.

So I suppose that if i put 180 it will start again counting from the begining after 3 minutes.. ok, i thought it would count until the end.. but then the gif would have to be too big… Thanks anyway.

I tested it with test list(4people). That was good. I sent real customer about 9300, but bounces is about 8300. That means they didn’t receive email, right? Even my email in the bounces list. All of 8300 bounces email is valid email address. How can I reduce or fix this problem?

When system is in dark mode price plans (/customer/price-plans/index) are not shown because there is no colour contrast in fonts (ul element).

I tried that many many times, even in ingognito browser. Can you flash yours please? In dark mode.

Hi, I didn’t get answer to my email question:

1. Is it possible to send registered users automatically to our contacts database via GTM? And also is it possible to send custom variables to user data?

2. Is it possible to send automated emails based on custom conditions/variables? For example, the user will register on our portal, we will send him after 2 days email and then if he has more than 50 user_score (custom variable sent via GTM to contact details), we will send him a coupon, if he has less than 50 we won’t send him. 

3. Is it possible for the user/admin to add Dedicated IP from Amazon SES (if we buy it).

4. Is it possible to send an email at the best time (not one-time but for the next 24 hours like Sendinblue has)

5. Does it support automated emails for abandoned carts, birthdays etc?

6. What is on your roadmap? What do you plan to add next?

7. Do you have any integration (Shopify, WooCommerce, Zapier…?)

Thanks for your interest in our product, I’ll do my best to answer your queries.

1. We have an API which can be used for such purposes, but you’ll need a developer to help the integration.

2. Yes. Segmentation can be used for this.

3. You don’t need to. You just add your amazon ses as a delivery server. MailWizz doesn’t care that on Amazon’s end you’re using a dedicated IP or not. So you don’t need to do anything special, just add the account in MailWizz, that’s all.

4. Sure, we have timewarp for this: https://www.mailwizz.com/kb/timewarp/ You’ll need a few things, explained in the article above.

5. No, you’ll have to implement this via the API.

6. That’s not public yet, sorry. What you need to know is that we constantly are working and improving MailWizz.

7. Not us directly, but there are WP plugins which you can use for Woo/WP integrations. For anything else, the API will help.

2. We recommend you only send emails to people that double opt-in to your lists.

There’s nothing we can help with, unfortunately, since the problem has nothing to do with us.

The article explains causes and fixes. It doesn’t happen because of an update, it’s easy to blame the software, but it isn’t the case, it happens out of a sudden because the hosting/services you are using have problems, which are all explained in the above articles.

The article also lists the steps you need to take to fix the problem, which take like 5 minutes, so read the article again and take proper action.

If you don’t have active support, then please buy a support pack, like everyone else, and ask the questions on the support forum, like everyone else does.

I see there are a lot of customers complaining about the same issue. even in the forum also. Why would I purchase a support pack when this worked fine till now, I have many customers complaining about the same issue which indicates there is something wrong. I repeat. I have read those two articles and cleaned the server to resolve this. Instead of asking your customers to purchase and get support at least open a common forum to discuss this issue.

PS: customers all mentioning the same issue surely do not use the same servers right ?, in the article it mentioned Cloudflare, but I use AWS, so you say both this server may have malicious code..or IP

Unfortunately, there’s nothing else I can add to what I added above except that when we first were informed about the issue we started a large investigation on multiple fronts where all our company employees were preoccupied only by this.

We worked alongside with our customers that reported the problem and in all cases we concluded the issue is not MailWizz, because it’s simply impossible to be if you understand how Safe Browsing works. We wrote our findings in the blog posts and we wrote a KB article to help. If it would be a MailWizz issue, then absolutely all MailWizz installs would be affected. It isn’t the case.

You can check your VPS IP’s at https://checkphish.ai/ and see if it has any bad history. Check your delivery servers IPs as well. If your are not using Cloudflare but Cloudfront, or a similar service, you should look into that as well.

In 99% cases, these are false positives because you inherited a bad IP address.

In some cases, you’ll get this because you have been reported as sending spam emails, though in our investigation, this case hasn’t shown that much.

That being said, if you need to discuss this more, then the support tickets forum is the right place, but again, everything you need to know is already out there in the open.

Can customer add their domain with DNS verification to send emails from their domain?

Hello,

You add and verify your DNS records to the email provider of your choice, which requires you to do so, then that provider gives you some credentials which you then add in MailWizz.

In MailWizz you can add Sending and Tracking domains that require DNS verification BUT they are not what you meant above.( https://www.mailwizz.com/kb/what-tracking-and-sending-domains-actually-are/ )

Hi, I’ve just gone into the backend – customisation and tried to update the background image for customer and backend and the whole mailwizz just crashed on me. I’m now getting a “This page isn’t working. Website is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500” error message. I have just now restarted the server and it keeps on displaying this error message. I’m unable to log in via the web into the backend at all. Can you please help us figuring out why it is crashing? Thank you

Hi, i managed to fix it. I’ve copied the “skin-black-light.css” from assets -> css to backend -> themes and it seemed to start working again. I have now removed it and it still works. No idea what just happened but seems to work. Thanks

There is something wrong somewhere. I have been doing installation for clients. And the ‘deceptive site’ thing is occurring on every set up. This was not the case like a month ago. I am ruling out the vps or blacklist as I have already checked that.

MailWizz has an API which can be used for any type of connections. Wordpress has several plugins that use this API to integrate to MailWizz.

3. Sure, you can do the same in MailWizz as well, just set the right limits to the group you associate with the price plan.

Hello,

Emails will not execute, render javascript, so there’s no point into adding such things.

However, MailWizz has an option, called Email Footers, which allow you to add any HTML which will be injected in all the emails that go out from the system.
