How many companies can I add in the listings?

The paid feature is confusing. I don’t see a PaidDirectory Add on with this purchase. I only see a PaidListings Addon. Are they the same? Where is the documentation for Paid Listings

Hi guys, I need help please about a caching issue I’m having with sabai directory.
During these years I’ve not had issues like this.
In plugins -> sabai-directory -> assets -> templates there is the file directory_searchbox.html.php. I’ve customized that file and now I’ve changed content in it but also if I clean cache in sabai settings I’ve get always the old version of that file. Also if I erase the file in the templates folder I get always the old file like can’t clean the cache somewhere.
Is there a way to deep clean that cache of your plugin?
I’ve tried also with
define(‘SABAI_SYSTEM_DISABLE_PERMISSIONS_IN_SESSIONS’, true);
define(‘SABAI_WORDPRESS_SESSION_TRANSIENT’, true); or
define(‘ENABLE_CACHE’, false); but nothing. I always get the old version of that file.
How could I do?

Hi. Pre-purchase question. It says on the website on Directories Pro (https://directoriespro.com/) that “Development led by the author of Sabai Directory, the best-selling directory plugin on codecanyon.net (as of 2018).” Is this to be understood as Directories Pro being a more improved version of Sabai? The design of the two does look similar.

We do keep supporting this plugin, however, we do recommend Directories Pro if you are building a new site.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to migration, and you will need to first set up a directory in Directories Pro, export listings, categories, reviews from Sabai Directory to CSV files and then import those CSV files into Directories Pro.

We found this in the documentation – “Nearby Listings” under – https://directoriespro.com/documentation/getting-started/displaying-content-with-views.html
This seems to show listings within 20kilometers of the users location… It seems to work well in the demo linked above, but I can’t figure out how to do this on the site. Are we missing something? Right now, we have it setup with 2 listings on the directory, one in Texas and one in Pennsylvania, and they both show up – https://nfpa.tempurl.host/secd/
In the original demo, it seems to only pull listings from the viewers location… is this possible… maybe we are doing something wrong.

Great plugin. I’ve some listings that are marked as Claimed in the Directory Dashboard – but there is no longer an option to edit them via the drop down menu or on the listing itself. I the owner supposed to be able to edit the listing for as long as it is live?

Yes, they should be editable from the frontend if you are the owner of the listing. You may want to check the permission setting of your directory in Directory -> Settings -> Access Control.
I think I’ve got everything working now… The only thing that doesn’t seem to work is Google Maps. I’ve set up APIs and payment on Google Maps Platform and everything works correctly when I’m logged in to Wordpress. However, the live site (when not logged in) is either blank or has error messages.
I’ve sorted this by turning of javascript render blocking. All sorted.

Can you please add social media fields for all the common platforms and remove Google+? I have read your replies to the many questions about this. Not sure how you can’t add these in 2021. You may want to consider removing the default Social Accounts field and add a new custom Social Accounts field from Directory -> Listings -> Fields -> Manage Form which supports other social media accounts.
How do paid listings work? (I have not yet bought the plugin, and would like to know in advance, thanks.)
Also, do you need Woocommerce for paid listings?

You can use any of the ManualPayment, PayPal, Stripe, AuthorizeNet, and 2Checkout payment gateways to charge users for posting their listings, as well as additional features for their listings, such as having them featured, more categories, more fields, etc.

2) Can we also modify the slug for the directory main page ? I tried to change it through the “Pages tab” on WP but it won’t work with this plugin.
3) I made a page where I used the shortcode to display categories and through this page, you can access to categories. I would like to set this page as default to display categories. Is it possible ?

Unfortunately that is not possible.

Yes you can. After changing the slug, make sure to re-save the settings under Directory -> Settings -> Pages.

The directory page is a normal WordPress page, so it is up to you how you will show the directory page and your categories page on your site. There is no “default” page in Sabai Directory.
