would it be possible to register a user in a list without the PHP repository (PHP-SDK)?

my idea is that the user registration is performed with a simple request in the API would register the address in a specific list with the data already addressed in the URL. Example:

domain.com/api/create_subscriber/?key=[some_key_strong]&email=[email_adddress]&fname=[data]&custom_field=[data]

the system would return the subscriber ID (subscriber_uid) and I could store this information in my database.

later, for example, if I need to update that specific subscriber, I would send a request to the API for that specific ID and update the information. Example:

domain.com/api/update_subscriber/?key=[some_key_strong]&subscriber_uid=[data]&custom_field=[data]

or, if I want to update that subscriber’s email address:

domain.com/api/update_subscriber/?key=[some_key_strong]&subscriber_uid=[data]&email=[email_adddress]

I believe that this would help a lot to assist in simple tasks of registration and updating subscribers

APIs don’t work like you described…

You can of course, use the API to create a page that would accept query params like you explained, and then send the info to your mailwizz app, but you will need to use the one of the available API clients.

I have to add half of those bounces by hand, one by one at mailwizz blacklist and then delete it. bounce server doesn’t work for half of emails

If your VPS has a SMTP server, then yes, you will be able to send from there.

Where emails will land, inbox vs spam, is really up to your sender reputation, so we can’t make any guarantees for you.

You should send an email from your VPS to an email address from https://www.mail-tester.com/ and check your results and correct things until you get a 10/10 score.

Next, check your VPS against blacklists, see https://www.mailwizz.com/tools/host-blacklist-check/

Alternatively, you can check your VPS IP Address at https://mxtoolbox.com/ since they offer quite some tools.

There is no reliable way to detect this, so we don’t include any direct stat related to it. You can cross reference the inbox rate with the opens rate and draw a conclusion.

Mailwizz Doesn’t Record Abuse Complaints If A Filter Was Manually Added?

Looking at this screenshot, it seems like 3/4 emails bounced due to a filter my subscribers manually added to list my email as spam: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/27611078?key=c852ef8c348222e6e4d35acf7732b604

It was classified as a bounce because I believe these subscribers add a block filter too. For clarification, I dont presume they clicked on the “spam” button because the first email I sent to them went through just fine.

Plus, if they did, the email wouldnt bounce. it would just go directly to their spam folder.

However, when I check the Abuse Complaints and Abuse Reports section in Mailwizz it’s empty. My question is does Mailwizz not record these kinds of spam complaints via a manual filter? For the record, all 3 bounces came from corporate email addresses (e.g. bob@mycompany.com) not personal like Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.

I would also like to have a similar function for bounces. Bounces are recorded at the campaign level. I would rather also see it done at Lists > Subscribers and then the status should change “Confirmed” to “Bounce”. There should also be a reason field next to the status column similar to the unsubscribe reason which shows the reason for the bounce.

IMPORTANT FEATURE REQUEST <—PLEASE CONSIDER
Can you please add the unsubscribe reason value inside of > Lists > Subscribers?
Right now, if an unsubscriber enters a reason, it’s only shown at the campaign level > Overview > Unsubscribes and very difficult to track. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack because you dont know which of the campaigns has the unsubscribe reason value unless if you spot it early.
A better approach is going to Lists > Subscribers and filtering our list by unsubscribes. From there, a column adjacent to it named Unsubscribe Reason should appear so we can see it at a birds eye view. Also, if you click on the unsubscriber to edit any of the fields like first name, email, and status, the unsubscribe reason should also display there. Thank you!

MailWizz has no troubles delivering 100k emails. Depending on your server setup and mailwizz configuration, it can take from a few minutes to a few hours/days.

Anyway in which you can add a favorites icon for quicker access to settings we use the most? For example, when logged into the backend, if I want to save this path as a favorite because I often times refer to it the most backend > settings > cron, I click favorite icon.

Next time, to access this same path, I do so with two clicks (favorites > saved path).
