Does this plugin support HLS/LIVE .m3u8 streams? I purchased the plugin, installed and when I pull up the player on my page the player loads but says that it cannot load the stream. I know the stream works because I can play it in Chrome is the HLS extension.

The problem is that the HLS link is non secure HTTP and your website is secure HTTPS, this is cauing a hls.js:2 Mixed Content error.
To fix this load the HLS stream from a secure HTTPS link like below, of course the server should allow this.

I fixed the url to include https://. Now the stream is only viewable in Chrome with the hls extension. This player doesn’t play in any browser without an extension?
There is an HLS file that I ued for testing and it works on all devices and browers.

I have looked in the console and there is an internal erro inside the HLS js file, there are not many explanation…

Your file does work fine. Is this a hosted file on the server or is it streaming live. We’re trying to stream a live TV feed.
It is on a server, but I tested live versions as well.
Your HLS is causong an error in the HLS engine it dose not say anyting except “Internal error”, I have no idea why.
I really want to help you but I don’t know how…

Hello, I’m trying to use this player with the Video Rev Theme and the video posts and pages respond with the following error in the header; “FWDEVPlayer holder div is not found, please make sure that the div exists and the id is correct! fwdevpDiv1” Is there a way around this error? its not replacing the player in theme, just errors.

Is there a way to insert airplay option into the controls? A plugin that works great, but if we could get some insight from you on where we could look to get airplay to be accessed from a Safari browser, that would be awesome. I’ve gone as far as adding an ID and even x-webkit-airplay=”allow”. I get a persistent errors (EX: TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘airPlayButton.hidden = false’). I have tried enqueueing in header .vs footer, setTimeOut durations, but … just struggling.I am sorry but airplay is not supported. It us on my list for a future update.

I see, the quality can’t be changed via the quality changer for Youtube they do not allow it anymore, it will be adjusted automatichally by Youtube based on the player screen size as for the speed I will look into it asap see what is going on.

Greetings, hope that everything is fine. It seems that this plugin does not work with wordpress version 6.0 or later. It was working with previous wordpress, but when I uploaded to 6.0, it doesn’t appear the Video neither the Window. When I select normal hosted video, it works without problems, but adding the parameters and the plugin it is not working anymore. Is there any solution to this issue? Thanks in advance

I know this plugin is no longer supported, but thought I’d let folks know that the EasyLists filter (used by the AdBlock Plus extensions and Brave Shields, among other element blocking features of modern webbrowsers) has for some reason added fwdevpDiv0 and fwdevpDiv1 to their filters, so if somebody using Brave browser or the AdBlock Plus extension on any browser tries to visit a page with an Easy Video Player on it, then it will appear briefly and then disappear.
You can get around that by changing the id of the player in the code relatively easily. Update the php/FWDEVP.php file on lines 416 and 457 to change ‘fwdevpDiv’ to pretty much anything else (do make sure the change is the same on both lines.) I have not noticed any unforeseen side effects of doing so yet (the API uses different connections anyway) so as long as you haven’t created any CSS that specifically references that element ID you should be okay.
It is not upported for now, I hope one day I will get back on it!

Now, for many, the player does not show on the site, there is a problem with Elementor, etc. And the author has been saying for probably a year that he is sick. Unique case. OK, looks like its a problem with the default theme on wp 6.0… Choosing another let the player work… Could you take a look at make it work with the default theme (Twenty Twenty-TwoV ersion: 1.2) ?

I used your plugin it is taken over my existing player outlook. Moreover, when we used your player shortcode in elementor it is opening in full width and other elements are getting hide.
we tried a lot to use this video player through multiple ways at our website, but none of them worked properly, when ever we tries to integrate this player in our website, many error starts to show, all blocks of elementor gets disappear and the whole page goes blank and just a player shows up, which is not needed totally disappointing.
we also tried to solve this error but none of our trick worked. that’s the only reason for raising the refund request.
Now, i have got my refund back into my account and now we can proceed to another player which can run properly.
