This info is not “wrong”, you can clearly see that it has been stated in the description of the product right under “requirements” that you must own the extended license to use the payment gateways, it is also mentioned in the presentation images and also mentioned in the envato licensing terms. This is not hidden or misleading, its mentioned in 4 places.

I’ve been trying to update the site for some time now. I followed the steps and everything looked fine. However when I go to the /update page I receive a message that says “Your database is already on the latest version.”

So after doing the update, what is the actual problem that you are facing? Im not sure I understand.
The problem is that my code is not using the LATEST VERSION. If the latest version is 17 and I’m on 13 that’s a problem. I’m 4 versions behind.

The problem is more than clear now, you did not replace the files, as mentioned in the documentation and you still have the old update folder.
Please, double check the documentation, there is also a youtube video on how to run an update.
