If I am using for a live stream so a m3u8 url and there is no stream present, can the player play a holding video and then break that holding video when the stream starts?

Elite video player can detect files and sources that are not playable (for example broken link, or misspelled file). Once detected, player will skip to next available video file, until the video can be played regularly.

I have a presales question. If I take a look at the demos from video’s with playlist on the rightside, the video’s have black bars on top and bottom except for the fullscreen mode which looks good without the black bars.
Is it possible to have them without these black bars? Video’s with playlist on the bottom have these black bars on the left and right, why not using the whole space for the video?

you can adjust video ratio to any possible number to avoid black bars completly, so no worry about black bars. It can be adjusted to fit exactly as your video ratio is. (demos are made in a way that when playlist is hidden, than video displays over the whole area).

if we get this correctly:
You have wordpress site and couple of created players, and trying to embed them via embed code to the other domain (which is also wordpress site) ?
Try using the same protocol as for the Player 1 which you have succesfully embedded via iframe code.
But, we would recommend a better way:
- simply use Import / Export functionality in Elite player plugin. You can export all players from first domain and import them on another domain. (you’ll need to install plugin with new Regular license on other domain).

Hi I have followed all your directions ifor nstalling the plugin and even .htaccess i have added the mp4 and i have also shortened the area where the self videos are kept on my server and my files are .mp4, but the player will not load, i have double checked all settings and it looks ok to me, i also have imported the JSON and still no player. Please can you help me with this issue.
I have worked out and fixed the issue above, so player now working, but where can i change the sound setting to be on every time some opens the player, but ATM it’s always off.

I use Monster Insights on our site and when I have the Media Tracking add-on enabled the Elite Media Player will not play the pre-roll. When the Monster Insights Media Tracking add-on is disabled the pre-roll will trigger. I am using the Vimeo player. Is this is known conflict?

I’ve noticed if you create a “mixed videos” playlist, if a VIMEO video is used it does not work, unless the first item is a vimeo video. If the first item is not a vimeo video (eg youtube or image) then when you get to the vimeo video it is played but cannot be viewed (“elite_vp_vimeoWrapper” is permanently set to visibility: hidden if vimeo is not first item)
Can you issue a fix for this please?

Hi, If you have a working demo of mixed video with an image coming BEFORE a vimeo video then I dont think it will work. I can’t find any such demo on your site. I’ve tested this thoroughly. in videoPlayer.js when the current item playing is set to be an image, you stop and unload youtubePlayer, but you omit to do anything with vimeoplayer (lines 7684 to 7714)

mixed videos option works in any kind of video combination: 1. YouTube first + Vimeo, 2. HTML5 self-hosted + Vimeo, 3. Vimeo + any video type, etc…
Mixed videos option is to display – videos.
Displaying images instead of videos intention is to build Images Sliders, for example: https://creativeinteractivemedia.com/player/Stellar_Video_Player/images-slider/.

Fullscreen is fine in download package for all video types.
You mean on demo?
If you see on top of the demo page “envatomarket” black bar, that is an iframe of envato page which “blocks” fullscreen. In other demo pages (when you choose example) fullscreen works fine because there’s no envato’s iframe there. Envato’s iframe can’ be removed.

Elite video player is compilant with any mobile network. Player configuration is up to you, you choose which file size/quality player will display as default (SD, HD). For YouTube/Vimeo videos, quality can also be auto adjusted, based on users bandwidth.

No worry about it. Demo code was minifed with special tools so it can’t be stealed by someone from the website. I use this tool: https://obfuscator.io/ to convert source code to hexadecimal code so it would be harder to read and therefore impossible to steal the code of the video player. Your programm is using algorithm to find hexadecimal code (it’s thinking that hexadecimal code is suspicious) and treating hexadecimal code as malicious, that’s all. Thanks!
