In general, with our plugin, you can create any number of routes using a free drawing tool or one of the match modes (driving, walking, circling), so that your route is automatically built along the map roads or trails. Separately, you can create any number of markers with popups and place them anywhere on the map. Also, you can use categories to create a list of markers or routes.

Hi, Thank you for the quick reply! What i want is to create the locations of the cities i’ll visite and then it will automatically make the route, from point A, to B, to C. Like, let’s say i will be staying 15 days at city A, then 15 days at City B and 15 Days at City C. I want to show this itinerary of the 3 cities in a single route. I did not want to have to draw the lines freely from place to place, but instead to say it’s a route and the points, and the points get connected.

So if i understood right, i would chose this match mode to do it, then it is available right? My ideia is to show the cities i’m going to be staying on a main connected route, and then non-connected single places around these cities i am visiting. So one would be the main trip cities (connected) and then on those cities i can make points of interests.

This way people can see upfront my main itinerary (the cities i’ll go to) and along the trip i can also mark and point single points of interest inside that city like cafes, tourist place, etc, little hikes i do, etc.

Yes, you can do it in a slightly different way than you imagine it, but the result will be the same.

In the plugin, route lines and markers are independent objects. Everything else is likely as you imagine it.

1. First of all, you create a route line. Using the match mode, you set several base points and the plugin automatically builds a route according to the selected match mode (driving, walking, cycling). It’s also possible to style the route line as you like.

2. After that, you manually add any number of markers at the required point of your route line (start, end, intermediate stops). You can style the markers as well and add a popup for each marker if it’s necessary.

3. Just like in step two, you can manually create markers outside the route, for your single places.

If necessary, you can create any number of routes and markers on the map or edit existing ones at any time. Here is a good example of a map with multiple routes and markers https://demo.treweler.com/piva-lake/

This is just a quick example of what a route over water might look like. It’s possible to change the styles of the route line (color, width, opacity, dash and gap).
