No it doesn’t, but it supports cutting the print receipt when the printing is done (if your printer supports that)

Hello- Hoping you can help through here. I have the printer module but nothing happens when it sends the print. I just see the print queue flash super quick but if I print manually from browser, then it works fine. It’s a brother RJ-2035 that i’m using .thanks.

Hi, i successfully installed and activated the thermal printer module and connected my excelvan hop-e801 (which is listed on your devices list), but when i print a KOT they say Print command send to the printer and my CMD-Dialog shows me KOT Printed for Order: ... but it does nothing. My printer dont print anything. It prints normally with all other applications but not with your printer module. Could you say me another way?
Is it not printing only KOT or not printing normal bill too?
It also not prints normal bill too, but i successfully installed and started the server. The printer works normally if i print over my computer and POS Software, only via Foodomaa it dont do anything

if printer is no listed in list can we dd its configuration from our end ? I mean is this open source code ?
There is a evaluation version available, so make sure to download that and try with your printer before you purchase.

No, the store owne needs to click accept order button and automatic printing should be turned on as well as the local printer server should be running.
does the thermal printer work with a tablet with the windows 10 operating system?
We have not checked with that. Does your tablet support everything that a windows laptop supports? (CMD terminals) If the operating system is the same and if your thermal printer can be connected to your tablet, then the module will work too.

Autoprint wont work if Auto Accept Order is “On”. 4. If look at the print server running on the background, it disconnect and connect over and over everytime when page refreshes.
My question is, is it possible to make Autoprint work when Auto accept order is “On” without any intervention of the owner? Thanks
Automatic printing means it will only print when you accept the order.
Once the order is accepted and if the automatic printing is turned on, it should print the order receipt.
The disconnected/connected is normal behaviour because your page refreshes when you accept the order.

Brought this and set it up in a few minutes. Very Easy. But I did want to add a logo to the receipt. I can see that this can be done by editing the blade code, but I prefer not to alter codes as they can get over written with updates. Anyway, I installed the Star TSP143 iii (Lan version) and downloaded the Star software from the printers manufacture and set the logo with that instead. Now the printer has a copy of the logo saved in its rom and prints the logo as expected each time.
Now the problem. Any text that is a different colour than black is printed as a raster (Tries to print shades of grey) and this makes it a bit more difficult to read the orders. So from Foodomaa, is there a way to only print text in black?
I believe thermal printer is only used to print in black and no other colors.
Can you take a picture of your printed receipt and upload it somewhere and share the URL (so that I could understand what exactly you are referring to?)
I’ve not compressed the image so that you can see the original. You can see that name and address is rastered and so is the !/4lb cheese burger font, but the remove from your burger is fine as it has printed solid black. I’m not sure if there was any circle around the 1X, but if that is also suppose to print then that could be because the printer is trying to print grey scale and not just black. The local driver is running on Windows 10 64bit
Hi the issue might be in the printer config or something related to that itself. Because on Code we donot have anything that will cause this type of rasterization.

It is possible that the problem could be the local print server that (batch file) that came with the Foodomaa printer. I’m not sure that it is running as I can’t see any service for it. Is there any documentation anywhere that shows how to remove the local server from Windows so that I can reinstall it. The problem is (apart from posted above) is that the printed orders don’t format properly to the printer (Even in ECC/POS mode) If I set the printer to fit to page the order fits on the thermal receipt, but it is so small it cannot be read. Any other settings will cut the right side of the print off. I’ve set the printer settings in Foodomaa to 80mm Set the Star Tsp100iii to ESC/POS mode and set the paper size to 72mm Margins set to minimal So as far as I can see the local printer is set up fine.
Basically, when I choose print thermal, the print job sent to the thermal is A4 and not set to thermal size.
The connection on printer is getting disconnected from time to time thus not able to print automatically. The configuration is surely correct because when I manually print it, it is fine. Is there any possible reason why this is happening? I mean the “disconnected” issue.
