Hi there ! Just a pre-sale question about this addon. Just to be sure that Chain Appointments is available on the Bookly modern form that we use (because on your screenshots you lonly show the “normal” form of Bookly). Thanks for your feeedback ! Regards

Hi, right now, Bookly Chain Appointments (Add-on) doesn’t work with the modern forms. However, we are working on the improvements, so it might be working in future releases.

It would be really great to be able to add several services for a client. This would limit the number of clicks on the calendar. One click, the window opens, and the possibility of adding several services for a client. It would be much more intuitive in admin.

Subject: Issue with outdated Chain Appointments add-on (only version 2.4 available)

I purchased the Bookly Chain Appointments (Add-on) here on CodeCanyon. However, the archive I downloaded only contains version 2.4, which is incompatible with my Bookly Pro 8.9 (latest version).

After installing, there is no “Allow chaining” checkbox in the service settings and no Chain Appointments tab in the plugin settings — the functionality is completely missing.

Please provide the latest version (6.8 or newer) of the add-on or let me know how to download the updated plugin that is compatible with my setup.

Hello,

I recently purchased the Chain Appointment Add-on for Bookly and encountered an issue with padding settings. I provide mobile services, so I must add a 1-hour padding before and after each appointment. However, when a client books two services in a chain, the system calculates padding for each service separately, which results in excessive time being blocked off.

Given this, I’m wondering what is the point of this add-on is if it doesn’t work as it’s supposed to. The current setup defeats the purpose of chaining appointments.

Is there a way to adjust the settings so that the padding applies to the entire chain of services, rather than each individual service?

Currently, this is the expected behavior. You need the conditional behavior to apply padding times only at the end of the booked session (regardless if it’s 1 or more appointments), though the padding time works globally and is applied after each booked service. How can a client take different services for different days? Example: Service 1 day 1 hour 1 Service 2 day 2 hour 2 Book

Please check if the Bookly Cart Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212969945-Cart-Add-on will work for this requirement. It allows your clients to book several appointments for different services for multiple visits (different dates/times) by placing them in a cart. So the “Book More” button is added in the summary step of the booking process and that will take the user back to the first step while retaining the current booking in the cart.

I just wanted to clarify how Bookly works with scheduling. It’s all set up on a weekly basis, so when you create schedules for your staff members, those schedules remain consistent week after week. The time slots available in the booking form are based on these schedules, and how the hours are divided and displayed in the form depends on the time slot length you’ve chosen.

Each staff member has their own unique schedule. When a customer books a specific time slot for a service with a staff member, that staff member becomes unavailable for that time slot for any other services. For example, if Superstar is booked for Service Awesome on Tuesday at 10 am, she won’t be available for any other services at that time. Likewise, other customers won’t be able to book service Awesome at that specific time, unless another staff member is assigned to provide that service.

The add-ons https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/add-ons/, such as Bookly Cart Add-on, are designed to provide extra flexibility and features to Bookly Pro. To use these add-ons, you’ll need to have Bookly Pro installed and activated, as they complement the main Bookly Pro plugin. When you install them, your booking form will look just like the demo.

Please note that the service duration should be divisible by the time slot length. Otherwise, the services cannot be booked in a chain. For example, if you want to book a chain with 3 services – 30 min, 1 hour, and 2 hours – the time slot length should be set as 5, 10, 15, or 30 min.

I have a problem with the plugin. There are 3 service providers, the problem stems from the fact that if I have a time reserved with one of the service providers, availability is blocked for the rest, even though they do not have the same hours or the same service.

The doubt that I have. If there is already a time reserved with another provider and I want to reserve it with a different provider, can I do it with this plugin? It is possible to do this without necessarily being the reservation at the same time.

Yes, the most important thing is that – the desired time window should be available for booking, which means if you add 3 services(each service has 1 hour duration), the plugin will search for available time slots with a “3 hour” duration in a consecutive order so the services can be booked. If the first slot starts at 12:00 – 13:00, then next will take place at 13:00 – 14:00 and the last one 14:00 -15:00.

Hi, I just installed the Add-On and everything works fine. I just got one Problem: I use these Shortcodes in the booking process: {service_name}, {staff_name},{appointment_time}, {appointment_date}, {service_price}

If a customer now books multiple services, it loooks really strange as the values will be shown together, only separated by a comma. How can I split up the information from multiple bookings?

Is it possible to not have the custom fields shown on all chain appointments, but just show them once? This is a big issue for us if the customers have to fill out the same fields for each chain appointment.

I have just purchased this add-on, assuming that the ‘additional service’ you can select could either be from any category, or from a selected category beyond the first Service category. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work that way?

I have a massage shop that would like to offer add-on services, e.g. foot spa (secondary service) with a massage (primary service). The foot spa needs to show for all Service bookings, but I can’t assign it to every Category in order for it to show as a secondary booking option for every Service. How would I go about showing foot spa for every Service in every Category?
