I’ve run into an issue with the filter for mobile. I have the “collapse filters” option selected and when clicking on the filter button to open the filter options I get this message: There is no filter widget with ID undefined on this page.
If I turn off the collapse option (the full options display on mobile) the filter works correctly.
I looked through the documentation but didn’t see a reference to this. The filter is in a sidebar that’s not hidden. I have other widgets in the sidebar that are displaying correctly.
Any thoughts?

It loooks like you inserted the Filter Open Button shortcode without Filter Set ID on your page.
For example you inserted [fe_open_button] but should be [fe_open_button id="77"] where 77 is Filter Set ID.
Isn’t it? Let me know.
Hmm, I was actually using the widget, not the short code in the sidebar. I just removed the widget and tried the shortcode with filter ID but am still seeing that error message…

Thank you for building this plugin. It looks really promising and highly customizable.
I just purchased the plugin in hopes that it will provide a way to add a Filter form on my homepage which will send the user to the archive page after submission. Given the ability to set custom names for the query parameters of the filter results page that would make this 100% compatible with my theme and it’s already existing filtering mechanism.
However I don’t see the possibility to do this nor add a Submit button on my filters? AJAX filtering is default behavior. I would really need this to be non-ajax and have a submit button which can send the “filtered” results to the products archive page.
I see this feature was also requested by @Donmasimo about 5 months ago for a Real Estate website. I need it for a Tire Shop site. I need a form for the user to select all sizes on the homepage and click Search so they can arrive in the full shop page. Here is an example of such a form: https://www.nexxon.ro/
Please do let me know if there are any alternatives? Perhaps I can “hide” the results until a filter is selected on my homepage? I’m thinking about such an alternative right now.

Thank you for your warm words about my plugin. Sorry for the late response. Your question is not so easy to find the solution.
Indeed for the moment my plugin doesn’t support the “Apply button” feature although I have started works in this direction. But it requires some time and there are also more urgent features that should be improved/developed in close time.
If it is option for you, you really can hide posts grid on your page until they will be filtered. Technically you can use condition with built-in function <?php flrt_is_filter_request(); ?> that returns [true|false] in dependance from is it the filtered page or not.
Or if you have time you can waint until this feature will be implemented. I think that real terms this feature can be added are two month from the moment.
Let me know what the way would better for you.

I love your plugin, but I got a big issue. My site slowed down ALOT, it took 8 second to handle an ordre in backend, and i looked up on query monitor and found out that it was you plugin that took 90% of the usage.
FilterEverything\F\FilterFields->getMetaKeys(), does this really need to be working backend and slow down the site?

Hello, I’ve been trying to use the plugin with an Oxygen repeater for days. Unfortunately real without success.
I gave the repeater DIV the class I set in the settings – unfortunately the plugin does not sort the items correctly.
One of the 3 categories is sorted correctly, the other two are not sorted at all or there are still articles from other categories in the result.
What can I do? Can you please help me?

I checked your site and it looks like you selected wrong Query in the Filter Set settings. Did you try to use another Query for that? BTW, it would be better to test filtering with AJAX disabled. Enable it please when you will ensure, that filtering works properly.

I have tested different query settings and currently also disabled Ajax. There it filters just as little or nothing more. With the current query at least filters 1 and 3 work.
I need the Ajax variant because reloading the page is not accepted by the client. But the filter result is identical – with and without Ajax.
Also I noticed with and without Ajax that the filter loads first as a checkbox list and then draws the css. This causes a strong CLS. that also does not work.
I bought the plugin because you mentioned several times in the comments that the plugin works flawlessly with Oxygen. Too bad it doesn’t work for me now – took a lot of time.
Do you have any idea how this can be fixed?
Otherwise, I would like to withdraw from the purchase, because the plugin does not work in my case.

I replaced your plugin copy with fixed one and this fix will be available in the next plugin version. Please, check it.
Hi, I seem to be having some issues of the sort on Elementor not filtering the values even when we have set the container to .products which is the UL class for the container. Do you have any suggestions i can look at as to why the filter set is not working?

If the filtering works okay without AJAX feature, but doesn’t work correctly when you enable AJAX, it means that you configured wrong “CSS ID or Class of Posts Container” or you have some other JavaScript errors that breaks AJAX loading process.
1. Products container should be unique for the page. If you have several containers with the same CSS Class it will not work properly. 2. If you open Console in Chrome on the filtering page and you see errors it means this is reason of the problem and you have to fix these errors first.

I have a few questions that no other filtering plugin can seem to do.
1. Can I filter by a group of attributes with this plugin? E.g: Primary attribute: Color – Red = red, red/black, red/orange etc
So, when I click red, the results return variable products containing ‘red’, ‘red/black’ and ‘red/orange’ products.
2. Does the thumbnail name change based on the filtered colour?

Thanks. My answers are: 1) Yes, you can. If you select “Use for Variations” in Color filter, you will see all variable products, that contain at least one Red variation. (And also you will see simple products with Red attribute) If you don’t select “Use for variations” you will see all variable products that have at least one Red attribute independently from variations.
2) For the moment no, you will see the default thumbnail. But I think I will add this feature later as you are the 4th guy, who asked about this.

I have over 400 colour attributes, and I need to manually group them into specific primary colours:
Red group: Red, Red/Aqua, Red/Black, etc Black group: Black, Black/Blue, etc Yellow group: Yellow, Yellow/Green etc.

Aha, it’s good that you provided this screenshot. I can say that if you select Red in the Color filter you will see products with Red attribute only. But not Red / Aqua, Red / Black. To see them you have to select them one by one.
I thought about to add feature to group filter terms. But it is not so often asked by customers, so I think I will add it next year. There are more urgent features I have to develop.
For the moment, I can only suggest you Search field for the Color filter that allows visitor to see all Red terms if he type “Red” in the Search field. You can see it on the Dev plugin page – https://dev.filtereverything.pro/ This feature is ready and I will release plugin update today or maybe next week.

Hello, I have two possible errors:
1) In desktop version, when I click on “default sorting” to chenge the order of the products, the options appear down with a lot of separation.
2) In the mobile version, when I display one filter, I cannot scroll down under the options of that filter. So I cannot reach the filters below, I have to close the displayed filter and and that’s when I can get lower.

I checked your site and realized, that you have a lot of CSS customizations on your page and they affects on plugins frontend elements also.
In general it mostly depends from your customizations, than from my plugin. But I can give send you link to a bit improved version of my plugin, that should be more compatible with such cases, as your own.
