Hi thank you for contacting. Unfortunately we have not try it to upgrade to ABP 5.x and also have not try it to convert to ABP Commercial. But, CRM Pro come with full source code, so you have freedom to modify it or to upgrade it.

Hi, Thank you for contacting. The options are update to ABP version 5. By entry level developer, it seems ABP framework over complicated and over engineered so difficult to learn. Despite the fact that ABP framework is very good, implementing best practice in software development and have enterprise grade architecture. We consider to rewrite the app using plain and simple ASP.NET architecture, not to over engineered, simple monolithic with single project.
When do you think the new rewrite version will be ready?

Hi, the re-write is planned to change this product. If you want the re-write version, don’t purchase the product now because I’m afraid you will disappointed if the planning did not match the timeline. Especially now is holiday season. I suggest you to wait until the new version is available if you want purchase the new version. If you like the ABP IO version, you can purchase it now.

Hi, start with less features and then progressively updated over time. Usually if new source code update is approved by Envato, current customers will get automatic email notification. Note: I have never experience that, but usually when I upload the new update there always check box option to notify buyers about the update, and I always check that check box.

Hello, thank you for contacting. Unfortunately the role access only to page level. For record level you should manually customize it. By default ABP have CreatorId for each table it create that I think can be used for filtering by user login.

Hello, CRM Pro did not designed for full scale document management. Its only provide one module for centralized document management, and one module for dedicated document management specific for each customer / lead. Workflow, audit trails, versioning and auto synch are too huge to implement.

Hello, what you are meaning is BoM (Bill of material) ? Let say a car is composed from four wheel, one body, one engine and four doors? If that what you mean, the CRM Pro did not support the Bill of material.
