It works with php8. My demo is driven by php8. If you want me to check what’s wrong, please extend support period and provide URL and FTP-access where I can see the problem.
I have uploaded the file in the control panel, but how does the customer download the file afterwards, is there any home page where the customer can download the file, how does the download work, how to display the download buttons. How can the customer download the file where is the file download button is there any additional script required?
You must have your own webpage where you embed the download button.
What code in a simple blank script should I write to show the download button and where should that download script be located do you have a simple example so I can see how it works?

Is transaction registered in the script? Do you see it on Transactions page in admin panel?

Looks like PayPal doesn’t send IPN-message to your server. Please go to this page and check status of IPN-message for transaction: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-ipns-history If IPN disabled (definitely, it is), enable it and set any URL (for example URL of your site).
yes, you where right. There was a typo in the IPN link.

How to open the link to paypal in new window the (target=”_blank”) attribute does not work. The js is causing it not to open in new tab.

The js is preventing a standard action to open a new tab on click. Paid traffic, The script it force users to exit website inactive to paypal or close the window. Were is the source of the href attribute calling from that calls for on click ? This action could be changed js? how to change your js ?

I have both stripe green downloads and paypal and installed both plugins. When a person clicks “buy now” you need to make an option in the backend whenever the button is clicked so they have a choice that says “checkout by card or by paypal that pops up”
