Hi Again, Never Mind… I dug a little deeper and found the needed zipped folder was actually located within the original download… unzipped the folder and downloaded the nested .zip and all is well.. very impressed – Thank You!

Excellent, I’m glad it works for you! I will have to clarify this in the FAQ, I’ve gotten quite a few emails regarding this, thanks!

Hi, I just purchased and dowloaded this plug-in… however, it won’t install – the installation fails and it says there isn’t a valid plug-in in the package. Could you please advise asap? Thank You.

May I ask which ZIP file you are trying to upload? When you download this plugin, you get a zip file that contains a few items: the help documentation, a folder containing the plugin, and a zip file for easy install. It’s this zip file that you will want to upload.

If this is the one you are using and still receiving an error, please let me know and I will look into it. Thanks!

This is GREAT ! Thank you for having replied. Going to purchase the plugin right now! Thanks again and best regards.

Hi all! I’ve seen that this plugin allows to add rules also based on Weight. So it is also able to add costs per weight unit. Said this, before purchasing that plugin I would like to know whether or not would it allow me to calculate the overall order weight (I mean: more products, each one has its own weight, and at the end the whole cart’s weight would be the sum of any single product’s weight) and generate the expedition costs accordingly, by given range? For example: if cart’s general weight is between A and B then we will have some expedition cost, if cart’s general weight is between B and C then we will have another cost, and so on. Thanks in advance for reply.

Hi fucine! Yes, this plugin calculates the shipping price based on total amounts in the cart. Right now the features include total price, total item count, and total weight. It will be able to calculate the scenario you described.

Hi Jarrod, I’m glad this plugin worked well for you!

Sadly your requests are issues with the WooCommerce core. They’ve frustrated me as well. The code on GitHub has a request to make the label optional but it seems to have been closed as the developer didn’t see any relevance. I’ve second the motion but I’m not sure if it’ll do much. I also reported the Free Shipping bit as a bug.

WooThemes plans to open a public forum soon so hopefully some of these requests can be brought up then! Sorry I couldn’t be of much help here.

Great plugin so far, exactly what I was looking for. Question: I do not want the term “Shipping:” to show up. Since my template already has this, it looks strange Shipping Shipping: $4.95

Can I hide it somehow?

Also, can you make a way to designate the shipping to be free for a certain range? I would like shipping to be free after they get to a high price, such as $150. If I just put 0.00 in the plugin now, for everything above $150, I get a Shipping message that is blank. I would like it to say “free shipping”.

Thanks again, Jarrod

It appears we got one of your items checked off the list!

https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/1852

Now if I understand this correctly, this is only the repository for development. The ‘Free’ label won’t show up until they release another new version but it’ll be something to look forward to in the future :)

That would be perfect. The more we can set as details for shipping costs, the better it is.

In a next project we will have to work with for example this plugin (http://goo.gl/ax8sO). It enables to set a price per size for a product (printing stuff). It would be great if something like size would be able to. 1m2 / 5m2 = 10 dollar 5m2 > = 15 dollar

>1m2 = 5 dollar

the same with weight.

I wanted to get the weight portion out quickly as promised so this version will only have that addition. Now that I’ve read this I can work on size in a future update. Every product has a width and height attribute. I can use these to get a square footage and then base the price on that. That sounds like what you’re in need of.

Thanks so much! Works great! Another point that would be really helpfull is to be able to add prices per product as extra shipping costs.

for example large products (like bumpers) aren’t that heavy but do cost a lot to ship.

Great, I’m glad it worked out well for you. I will definitely note the extra shipping fee and see how I can implement that in the future.

Is it, perhaps in an update, possible to set shipping methods per weight in the shopping cart?

I can definitely consider it. I’m currently working on a more advanced plugin right now that will be able to calculate several types of different scenarios but I’m still working out some bugs in the calculation part. Weight is included in this one.

When do you expect that one? It’s important to me =)

The table rate shipping is a little delayed. This plugin bases shipping on the cart’s total price or total number of items. If you’re looking for combined weight of the cart, this I could do in an update by the weekend. My thought would be to add a third option to the drop down box for weight.

This is a very BAD customer support. I have sent numerous emails in regard the fail installation in the past few days , and have not received reply . I want my money back and DO NOT WISH TO Purchase from you ever again.

I’m sorry that you are feeling upset, but I only received one email from you and I responded the next day asking for your login information and a link to your website. Please ensure that it did not end up in your spam box. If you still plan to return it that’s fine, but know that I did respond and never heard from you again. I figured you managed to install it and no longer needed assistance.

Hi there, I purchased your plugin and could not install it. Here’s the message: Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin install failed. Please advise Thank you

A question , i want the products shipping prices to be different per country of shipment.

Example product A shipment to USA is $40 but to Aus is $60. Same product but different shipping price according to destination.

Also the fee should be by per product(same product) , that means if 2 products to USA is $40×2 = $80.

And i have 3 different products and the shipping prices are different but calculated the same way as by destination and per product.

Is this plugin suitable ?

No, I’m afraid not. This plugin is based only on the total price or number of items in the cart. Its not based on shipping classes.

ok thanks, if the table rate shipping plugin was the same price I would certainly be interested.

thanks

can this be used to set several settings such as

1) free for UK delivery over £9 2) £2 delivery cost under £9 3) world delivery £12 excluding UK

so effectively 3 shipping methods in the plugin

thanks

I’m afraid not, not on it’s own at least. You could set the first two options using this plugin and setting the allowed countries only to the UK. WooCommerce then comes with flat shipping that allows you to choose specific countries. You could set the flat rate shipping to £12 and select all countries except for UK.

I am also in the process of creating a table rate shipping plugin that would be able to do this but it’s still in the early stages of development.
