The feature you mentioned is not available in documentSide. If you are going to use a system within your membership system, you can make the document private only for members or you can create password for the document.

I think you misunderstood me. What I meant is that an employee creates the guide, a supervisor reviews it and approves the draft for internal reading. Optionally, all employees of the company must confirm that they have read the new policy.
Additionally, implementing a document lifecycle with a versioning system would be a great feature.

Its not about documentSide, documentSide is not contain any browser extension. There any error.log file vailable on your script directory?
it does not save dside_login and PHPSESSID in local storage. and goes back to login page. I even tried it in localhost and got the same error.

You no need new installation, just extract updates_2_1.zip contents in your installed dside directory.
New update just contain a small fixes on sections are and theme option for dside navigation.

Finally I can install the script after changed localhost to 127.0.0.1 in the mysql section.
But, some problem were found
1/ using both 127.0.0.1/infoman or localhost/infoman to login(ps. infoman is the directory where I installed, win10+laragon), the top menu, layout and setting and lang works only on first click, and then all of them doesn’t dropdown, all of the link shows localhost/infoman/index.php?p=sections
2/ also there is no respond when I click create a new doc

- Users can see only their own documents except admin. Admin see and manage everythings. Do you want to disable admin option?
- You can create unlimited templates at layout section. You can use it everytime when you need. Layouts can be selected on document edit section.

Here is your answers;
1- All documents has their own categories, you can create unlimited 2level categories for each documents.
2- Approve system is not available. But Admin can edit all documents.
3- Comment feature is not available.
4- Layout/Color edit available. You can easily add unlimited templates. Default system comes 3 bootstrap4 supported themes and 2 pdf layout. But you can import more templates on layout section. Customized css import available.
5- Layouts stored in database, also premaded sections too. You can create automatically imported sections for new documents. For example on simple software doc; automatically added database creation, credits etc..
6- “how about print only selected sections?” sections marked as section IDs its requires a little modification for print. But you can use admin content for it. Document creation system creates 2 clone doc. Admin contents & viewable contents. You can mark it as admin content for print.
