I need to create a voting system with multiple options to form a list and each item with different weights depending on its placement: 1st – The person registers with e-mail, receives a code by e-mail to confirm the e-mail address. 2nd – Confirmed he is redirected to the page where he can type his answer. 3rd – The voting fields are: NAME + ALBUM NAME + ARTIST NAME (excluding the name, all fields with suggestions for previous entries to minimize typing errors). 4th – As the idea is for the person to vote for the 5 best albums they can position the fields to make their list. 5th – Done the positioning I need to identify which position the ALBUM is in and give a weight, that is: 1st 100, 2nd 80, 3rd 60 points. 6th – Create a Rank and show the result of the vote so that the exact entries add points to the position of the ALBUM. This is what I need to do. Does anyone know if there is a plugin / system / theme that does this?

I’m just getting started with your product, but this may be the worst plugin I’ve ever purchased. You illustrate a robust demo, charge $79 and then 90% or more of the functionality isn’t included with the plugin. Instead, I have to purchase an array of add-on’s, “business packages,” etc. As it is, the core plugin may be worth $20 and even that’s questionable because there is so little flexibility. I regret the purchase already.

You really want to do this?
First, I had a ton of problems activating the plugin because it it won’t work with PHP 7.0 or 7.1, maybe not even 7.2 or 7.3 So I had to risk problems with my other installs to upgrade my PHP package and there is NOTHING I can see in your documentation that says 7.4 (or whatever) is required.
Second, it appears you’re using custom post types, correct? Because on my site, at least, any direct link to a poll calls-up meta data and footer information from the theme blog code. However, then your admin dashboard does not include the ability to categorize the polls or tag the polls or allow comments, etc., so I get the blog meta labels on the public site, but they’re empty.
Third, even though you’re using custom post types, it appears I cannot easily aggregate the polls on one page, or easily navigate between one poll and the next. So in some ways the polls look like a blog post with NONE of the functionality of actual blog posts.
Finally, don’t get me started on the fact that the cost of the license is $79 but in the Item Details it says the cost is $59? And that for $79 you get one “theme.” I have to pay more money to change the look and feel at all? And you allow NO ability to show the results in graphical form? No charts or anything — that also costs more money.
So yes, you can argue that you mention “Add-On’s aren’t included,” but that does not change the fact that for $79 the plugin is not very robust. Oh yeah, and the ‘Expressions” don’t seem to be working either — no matter what I try, when I change an expression in the admin dashboard it does not render on the public site.
So it’s time for me to eat my $79 and look for something else. Because on principle I won’t give you any more money.

Regarding your question, if you want 10 people from the same office to vote only once on a poll, you can votes per session to 1 and votes per IP to 10, then 10 different sessions will be allowed to vote once from the same IP within 24 hours.

After upgrading to 4.5 we can no longer edit/create new polls. We get the following error in the JS console

1 – yes it’s possible to have multiple polls on a same page if you follow these steps :
- Create a page where you want to display your polls - Copy and paste each poll’s shortcode on that page to integrate it (to find a poll’s shortcode, please go to your poll > edit > integration > shortcodes)
Once you do, You’ll be able to see multiple polls on the same page.

Thank you for your answer… I want to put featured images & titles (+ links) in a page (dynamic because we will add and remove polls all the time… so adding them manually will be a waste of time). Like here: https://totalsuite.net/product/totalpoll/demo/ (Simple Poll, Image contest, Video contest etc. goes to a link where you can find the actual poll).
I want to have “this vs. that” polls where the poll shows random comparisons based on a list of answers/items for the poll. Each time user clicks one of the choices, the poll automatically refreshes and shows a new this vs. that random comparison. Whenever the user wants they can see the results that show the total votes/ranking of the items. So rather than have just two items this vs. that for a poll, we could add many options that would be randomly matched in a simple side by side “would you rather…” type of poll format. Make sense?

- a poll with multiple questions - Each question will be a This or That Question - Questions have to appear one by one to the user, so whenever he answers a question, he gets to see the next one. - Allow the user to see the results of each question while voting.

Hi. Yes that sounds about right. For example, I create a new poll and type in list of items to be used in the X vs. X poll. So for example poll title “Which of these two two options would you choose as a better kind of food?” Backend list of items may be: chinese, italian, french, american, thai, mexican, greek, etc… Then these items are randomly matched up side by side in a VS. poll so when user clicks on their favorite it goes to another random side by side comparison (via ajax not reloading the page). Then the user can click on vote results to see the how all the items ranked from most popular to least popular. I think this type of poll would really increase user engagement and time on site. Would love to hear your thoughts on this idea, good or bad?
p.s. This type of poll would be very good for comparing/voting 50 items randomly generated item VS. item rather than have a long list of 50 items with single or multiple choice vote style. The template style of the blue buttons X vs. X is ideal for this.
