Hi there, you can enter any language for the age verification pop up, however, only one language can be active. Multiple versions aren’t currently possible.
Hi, I have a multilingual website (2 languages using WPML) and have applied the Age Checker on one specific page which works great. My issue is that I can only select the page in the main language but I can’t choose and apply the plugin to that same page existing in the other language.
Any way to do that? Thanks in advance.
Hi, the plugin may not work with WPML, it’s also difficult to work on compatibility since WPML doesn’t offer any free plans. Does the verification popup not appear at all for the other language? Do the 2 pages have the same or different page IDs? Thanks
Hi, no it only shows up for one language. The two pages have different IDs but I can’t select both pages.

I’ve installed the age checker on https://slijterijhenkpeter.nl However when the button is pushed it takes about 2 seconds before the age checker screen dissapears. is it possible to make this faster?

Hi there, after the button is pressed it sends an AJAX request to your site and sets a cookie. I can see that you have a slightly longer delay than usual. This delay can be decreased with faster web hosting.

Hi Rod the site you’re referring to https://royalcitycannabis.co/ has customised the plugin. Unfortunately Age Checker does not currently offer this province feature.
Hi! Love the plugin! I have an issue: I have great intro animations on my home page, unfortunately the Age Checker displays, and the animations underneath can’t be seen. I have an idea: is there some way to have the “Submit” button of the age checker act as a hyperlink to the landing page, rather than just removing the age checker? That way a visitor would be taken to the home page, and get to see the animations.

Hi – I see on your Preview it says there are three options….to use it by Birthdate, Checkbox, or Enter Form. There are only images of the first two options…..what does the last option look like? Do you have an image you can show me? Thanks.
Hi there, the enter form looks just like the birth date or checkbox methods without the date selector or checkbox. So just a submit button.

I added the Age Check plugin to a website and the website lost its Google listing. Do you know if your plugin is search engine friendly? It just could be a coincidence and something else could be causing the listing removal.
Hi there yes Age Checker has been designed to be search engine friendly. The age verification screen is just a pop out which means search engines can still read the site content as usual.

Hi thanks for your enquiry. At the moment there isn’t a blur option for the background, the verification pop out takes up the full screen. I believe the regular license offers use in 1 end product, so you would need additional licenses for other sites. Hi there if you install the Envato Market plugin https://envato.com/market-plugin/ and generate a personal token. That should let you download any themes or plugins you’ve downloaded from Envato including Age Checker.

Just confirming I’ve sent a query to Envato last week and waiting to hear back from them at the moment.
So from what I’ve seen so far it doesn’t look like the item requires any special configuration by the author for the Envato Market plugin to connect to it.

Is there a way to load a screen that appears after an affirmative age check (sort of like a landing page) or only to click through and it goes to the main website? (Some use to encourage a newsletter sign up or a freebie download for lead generation) – thx!
Hi there isn’t currently an inbuilt way to open a different page after a user confirms their age. However, you could make a small change in the plugin files to do something like this.
Within the assets/js.js file at line 47, you can replace with the below and enter the URL of your choice. You might need to clear your cache to see the new changes.

Hi you could either apply your desired CSS directly to the following class ”.agc_screen .agc_verify_button” to overwrite the current styling. Or it’s also possible to edit the plugin’s files at assets/css/style.css and remove the styling between lines 331 and 356.
