Purchased this software, installed and home page is displayed. But I am getting database error when click on create Account. Setup is windows, wamp, mysql and php.
The error is copied as below. A PHP Error was encountered Severity: Notice

Hi Does your software support:
1.) Double entry? (Requirement for UK Ltd’s)
2.) Multi-currency + live update of those?
3.) Last update 21 October 19, so almost 3 years ago. Is the script still supported and if so will there be an update?
4.) Your script needs a new database for each company that is managed in the system? Is that correctly understood?

I already follow the installation through the documentation you provide. 1. Download .zip package (DONE) 2. Upload it to your server (DONE) 3. Extract the package (DONE) 4. Open “config.php” in accountant/application/config/config.php and change the base_url to your installation url (DONE)
I’m stuck at point number : 5. Make sure that the Database is created before creating an account and the database name should be the same, as shown below;
I already create the database, username and password. And I don’t have any idea how to put that database username and password to your application, since it is not mention in your documentation.

Hi, would it be possible to have the figures in the entries to have commas example $50,000.00. Currently, it just 50000.00. It’s only the total that follows the money format. By the way, we are already using PHP 7.4.

Hi, Thanks for the last reply and fixes on your demo. Willing to buy this but have 2 more questions.
1) How to add and manage the ledger entries in the system? I did not find any link to manage these ledger entries. When a fresh company will start, how will to save these ledgers?
2) How many records will be displayed seamlessly on the charts of account, trial balance & balance sheet page because there is no paging and if the record will be more than 25k or more?

1. when a new company is created, you can create ledgers in Chart of Accounts page. “Create New Ledger” button. and to create entries in ledger, you need to go to “entries” page. and there you have a button to add entries.
2. chart of accounts, balance sheet, trial balance will only display ledgers and groups with totals. so there will be no issue. however, if you ever have an issue, we will be happy to help.
