Might I ask why certain elements can’t be copied? I Get an error message when attempting to do sub rows and the like.
Hi, you can get an error if you try to paste elements at invalid location, e.g. column after section or inner row after column, etc. If you are getting error on copy then it is possible that you are using some non-standard content elements or that there is some JS error (maybe even caused by some other plugin).
Hello, I have this plugin as it came bundled with Uncode. I am using it in a dev environment with MAMP and unable to copy and past across pages. Are you only able to copy and paste across pages when a website is hosted? It works fine copy and pasting to the same page.

Thanks for the quick reply! I double checked and it works fine in Chrome. It seems the issue is just in Safari. I tried clearing the cache as well as the website data in preferences. I also cleared the cache and local storage at ~/Library/Safari but it seems to still not copy to another window.
I double checked and it’s also not working on the live site. So it must be a general Safari issue.

We could not find anything wrong with Safari (versions 13.1 and 14).
I’m on Safari 14.1 could you confirm it works with that version? It was working perfectly and now seems to longer be function so it could be from an update from 14 to 14.1

Hi. I have installed your Clipboard plugin. I really like it. However, I cannot work out how to get Import to work. I copy elements then click Export, copy the code generated, go to the page I want to import, paste in the code, click on Import … but nothing happens.
Hi, after you click Import, clipboard should be imported so now you have to click Paste to paste the clipboard content. You only need to use export-import if you are transferring clipboard content between websites (domains).

I have Version 1.4.0, and its great, saves me SOOOOOO much time. recently we have converted to mutli site on different domains. This still works fine and understands which domain you are on, but sadly, you can’t copy and paste between the multisites, which would have been amazing.
If it could support this in future, I would purchase again.
Hi, it will work on multisite, but only if sites are using the same subdomain. If not, you can use export/import to share clipboard content between sites.
I assume by export/import you mean export from one site, and import to another site, not that your plug-in has this feature. I assume this is because you are using local storage, and the only way to resolve this, would be to store it in the database. Either way, great tool
Yes, there is option to export/import clipboard content (toolbar buttons EXPORT and IMPORT). It could be possible to use database, but that would be slower. Anyway, we will consider this and other options regarding cross-domain operation.

How does one use the export/import function? I want to transfer content from a local development version of a site to a “live” version of the site. I cannot figure out how to use the export/import tools.
Hi, first you need to click EXPORT button to export clipboard content, then copy exported content from input field (next to EXPORT button) to your computer clipboard (Ctrl+C), then go to other site, paste clipboard content to input field (Ctrl+V) and click IMPORT. After that, clipboard content should be imported and you can paste it on any page.

However, before committing to purchase, I have two questions: 1) Does this work across different domains (eg. copy row, or template from dev.mywebsite.com to mywebsite.com)? 2) For how many domains is this ad-on limited to if at all?

1) Yes, but not directly – you need to use clipboard export/import. 2) Not limited, it is only required to install a plugin on each site.
