Best would be to show the whole post as a modal. (Image + Meta + Text)

Ohh, unfortunately it wouldn’t be possible, maybe I would suggest to place the post page as an iframe in the popup

Ohh I’m a little confused as well, I don’t have any license for $300, I only have 2 license (which are provided by CodeCanyon):
1) Regular license ($23): you can use it in a website for a client or for personal use
2) Extended license ($135): if you are going to use the plugin as part of a bigger project that’s sold to multiple customers, for example as part of a theme that’s being sold in Themeforest

Hi! Please see my screenshots below. In order to use your Wordpress plugin, it looks like I’m required to have a Business plan which costs $300? Unless, there’s another way to install your plugin to get it to work on Wordpress?

Ohhh I think I understand now, that limitation is on the type of WordPress site you are using (not in the plugin), you are probably on Wordpress.com right? wordpress.com has that limitation on plugins (you can even try the free ones and you’ll get the same result)

I would suggest to use wordpress.org since you can install plugins without any business plan, you would only need a hosting.

If you are having hard times understanding the difference between .org and .com here’s a little help I found:

You know how you have a single post and at the bottom you have related posts grid. Can it be done with this plugin to make sure the grid doesn’t include the single post the related posts grid is on?

yes, you can exclude the current post from the grid

oh ok great.. one more question.. it says portfolio.. it doesn’t come with build in portfolio post type does it? Preference is not as I already have custom post type for it so just want to double check

hello me again . I’m starting to familiarise myself with the plugin and have some questions.

I really quite like the the irregular layout of this example and also the mix and match with other content e.g text

I couldnt find in the settings how you would do it (so have that kind of grid layout and also the content mix to add some text really) and then when I tried to import this example to use it as a starting point, I get an error message “The post type with the key “cpt_dark_grid” is not longer available please change it for something else.” and when I view the grid on my site it doesn’t look anything like the example.

In your portfolio settings, under the “Content” tab look for the option named “Maximum words of the content or excerpt” and remove the number that’s currently in there (leave it empty)

ohh, but you want to remove the shortcodes? that feature will remove the shortcodes with its content, unless the content is outside the shortcode.

Even if it should be hard coded – I need to show only specific post from a category. The content of the categories is changing dynamically and there is no way to choose it manually.

I do know a little of php – you can try me

that code is executed for each item (it is the loop that iterates all the posts)

I’ve tried this:

but it only breaks the site and it isnt recoverable even with the recovery link ;DDD

I have removed the plugin and reinstalled it … site now runs ok

Unfortunatly that didn’t work. On a new page I have tried a not so ideal solution. I created a div around the shortcode and tried to specify a width an center the div. Since the width of a scrollbar is not always 17px I don’t prefer this solution.

.div{width:calc(100vw – 17px); margin:0 auto;}

Do you have something better for me?
