Some messages show incorrect date. I sent a message more than a month ago but on the conversation the message time says “day ago”. It also shows this on the chat history sidebar.

Sorry, messaging is only supported in front area. And admin, editors or authors can’t use it on back.

Yes, You can use the plugin without buddypress. This plugin works with wordpress user it has no dependency with buddypress. But this plugin works with buddypress too.

No, admin can’t see others message. Messages are encrypted. No live option is not available.

You have to modify the shortcode to change the rendered dom.

Most of the feature we wanted to provide with this plugin is already developed and available in the latest version. Right now we only push updates for major bugs. we haven’t heard of any major bug from our user till now.

Many thanks for your answer. In normal circumstance, there’s no way you can simply purchase something -> insert it to the website -> an voila, charge client for that, customization always need here and there. It’s ok if you distribute like encoded, unreadable, non-customizable Free version and customer need to pay for the usable version, in this case I bought the plugin to support your effort in making it.

But if what I received is a non-editable, unreadable version, what’s the different between purchased version with a warez version that I can download somewhere else ? I hope you understand the situation (I also submitted a ticket but no response from you guy so far) and we can solve this matter shortly as my deadline is near and the plugin already contains almost 90% of what my client need. All I need to do is just some adjustments which I can’t do right now. Thank you.

It’s not editable is not true. All the PHP files are there for you to make changes, also you have hooks to make changes there. Item details page clearly informs what files are included with the plugin. you can customize style, color, etc easily using css.

Now if you want to make custom development & develop new features, support won’t be able to help with that according to the Envato item support policy as mentioned here https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy. The plugin has very little js which is minimized because of js size, performance etc. Also, we have used some very advanced js with bleeding-edge technology. We listen to user requirements and if it’s a valid requirement and possible to implement we will try to integrate those in our plugin. We don’t our users to spend tons of time to spend on that little js part of the plugin where the chances of getting any success are very little. As we won’t provide any kind of support it’s not included in the plugin. If someone has his own custom requirement then we can’t do much help here.

Many thanks for your fast response. Sorry I didn’t mentioned my issue correctly. The problem is my client want to change a few parts which require JS customization and I can do it myself but all JS files are encoded / unreadable, so there’s nothing I can do. Hi guys, there is any way to have more than one shortcode to send a new message in the same page? I mean I’d liki to have many [yobro_chat_new_message] shortcodes in the same page, but with different user_id values for each of them. Actually just the first shortcode appears in the page.

Sorry, currently we don’t have any plan for voice chat. Voice chat needs thridparty services but we tried to keep. it simple so customer can use it easily.

It seems to me you can do it without any yobro hooks. I am confused here why you need yobro data for showing this?

Hope you are doing well. I have configured Amazon AWS S3 storage in the YoBro Pro settings successfully. But I see that all the files including image, audio and others are being uploaded without the extension.

I can’t share the access of the website publicly. Maybe I can provide you screenshots of YoBro settings page and AWS settings.

I think you should download the plugin that is currently tagged as 2.3 version and then setup Yobro in a test site with free AWS S3 storage. I am sure you will get the issue as well.

This is not about my WordPress installation only. I tested it in fresh installation and yet found the issue which clearly means the problem is in the plugin.

I read in other comments that you have plans to implement email notification on new messages. Is it implemented already? If not, is there a work around? And how should it be done?

Hello, Unable to send image file using chat. can you solve it.

For sending image or any type of attachments you have configure aws s3 credentials in yobro settings.

As per your response we have settingup the AWS service and created a bucket(Even tried with public access) and enter the details here https://prnt.sc/wjmwo3 but still attachment are not sending. There is nothing happen on click on the send when we attach a doc or image.

In the region section you have to put the bucket region slug only “ap-south-1”

Yes, this plugin is specially for sending message to individual person. This application doesn’t support broadcasting.

Hello, I want to use this plugin but I have some queries. I have a contact vendor button on my product page. I want that when login user click on this button, Chat should be initiated between that vendor and user . For example if the vendor id =6 , then I can open a page in the click of vendor chat button and will place the code [yobro_chat_new_message user_id=6] . Then please tell will the user chat start with the vendor of id 6 . This is the my main requirement . Will yobro plugin fulfill this requirement?

Yes, You can achieve this. You might not redirect to a new page to send a new message. Rather you can send message from the vendor page with modal. After the message is sent user will be redirect to chat page.

i have added [yobro_chat_notification] to header. fine. but every time i click on a user in dropdown it tell me to sign in. and when i sign in, it goes again and tellls me to sign in when clicking. and the page it creates ending with ?conversationId=, it disables the ssl and gives Not secure.
