We can open our website abc.com and show some details in guide and if user click on dialog button (to see the next sub-page) we open next page to show step 2 guide? So our guide is open page 1, then page 2, then page 3… with some guides and text.

Yes it is possible. The steps of the tour can show different pages of the website, and they can depend on the clicked button in a dialog step .
ok. And how we can set conditions to show the guide not to all users? And we need to show this guide only once per user. So if user finished the guide we do not wanna show this again after next login.
There is an option that allows you to choose the user roles allowed to see the tour. The “Run once” option uses the browser local storage to detect if the tour has been played or not, not the Wordpress user account.
A) So if user use another device or clean browser cache… they will see the guide again? Other tour systems have option to save option to the user profile. Is that possible with your system?
And is it possible to work with that plugin in bbpress, in buddypress and in youzify plugin for buddypress?

You can make the screen dark except the shown element, with a tooltip or a text + arrow. The next step can be called when the user clicks the element or after a defined delay. There is no buttons in the “Show element” steps, only “Dialog” steps can have buttons . There is no live demo of the backend side, sorry, but there are screenshots that show it.
That sounds good. Is there any chance to jump to next step by click on “SHOW ME NEXT INFO”? So user do not need to click on website element, only click on arrow or button from your plugin.

Ok. So lets say: we highlight an element in our website. How visitor can jump to area we wanna explain? For example we wanna show him in second step the search options in right sidebar. And in third step we need to open another page (same domain) and show him how to change profile data…
The visitor can jump to the next step by clicking the highlighted element or simply by waiting, if you defined a fixed delay.

2. A complete plugin doesn’t mean the development process is over and that can’t be improved, right? From what you said, to me it seems like this plugin will not be developed/maintenaned anymore. In order for me to buy a plugin, two things are very important to me: 1. Awesome and responsive support (which I would say it is from this point) 2. A plugin that is moving forward, that is constantly improving and patching. (I’m concerted about this part)
3. This is very important thing to show to the public. In most cases when developers do not have this, it means they do not track what they do/fix and they do not update the plugin at all or they do it very rarely. Could you add the changelog so we can see it? If your goal is more sales, this is one important thing you need on envato market.

2. Yes, a plugin must be maintained and supported. This is the case for all my plugins. I ensure their functioning and compatibility with the latest version of Wordpress, and provide support when there is a conflict with a theme or another plugin. As mentioned, there is no specific additional features planned currently.

The WP Ultimate Tours Plugin does not work on my WP Multisite installation (5.5.3). The are no errors in my /wp-content/debug.log, main site / subsite / apache error logs to explain the error. (wp db repair / optimize do not show any errors either)
I have both WP Ultimate Tour and WP A.I. Assistant installed on the same subsite (deactivating A.I. Assistant did not solve the problem).
The Problem(s): 1.) Every time, I try to edit a new tour…The admin screen looses the ability to scroll up and down. https://i.imgur.com/Yaj8hc0.png 2.) More importantly, every time I try to edit the first “new step” of a tour, the animation loops on the dot and never actually shows the editing interfface. https://i.imgur.com/9gWeLjX.png 3.) Even though, I have deleted two previous failed attempts to start a tour, the settings section still shows that the previous failures are still being counted. 2. In the dialog steps, you can freely create buttons. In the tooltip steps, you can choose if the next step is called after a delay or when the user clicks the target element. In the texts steps, you can define the delay before calling the next step .
Hi there, I just realized that you can only show a button when using the “dialog” option. I want to be able to show “before” or “next” buttons ON EACH step no matter if they are dialogs, showing an element or full screen. This is part of ALL tour plugins!
You can simply enable the option “Show navigation bar” to show a navigation bar that allows the user to go to the previous or next step .
Thank you, that’s what I needed! I completely missed the setting section because it is almost hidden at the bottom. I would consider adding it to the top. Also, please consider adding the option to show it for X number of times in addition to “show it once”.

I would like to buy this plugin to make a back-end tour for my customer, i’m webdesigner and always design an instruction manual in .PDF to teach my clients how to make some changes to their website, always on the back-end of WordPress, but of course, if the tutorial were be like a guided tour everything will be easier to learn and memorize. So… will this plugin do that job for me? Will it work in every page i need, even if it is over another plugin, not just pages, posts and media library?
And the other question is, if i buy a regular licence, will the plugin work only over 1 website? Would i need to buy another licence for each of my costumers?
Extra question, is it possible to export the entire tour that i have done on 1 website to another website?

Yes, you can make such tours on the backend side by using this plugin. It works with any page and plugin (the highlighted elements simply need to be visible on the target pages).
Yes, 1 website = 1 regular license. You can freely export & import the tours from a website to another one .

All the tours are exported/imported together. The existing tours will be replaced by the imported one . The solution to do that would to export/import the wanted tours from the “wutb_tours” table directly in the mySQL database, by using phpMyAdmin.

Is it possible to use the tour in a network on dynamic links? For instance, if I want to show the user specific profile functionality, could I use a term like [user profile] which would be unique to every user?

Yes, you can use the shortcode [USERURL] as step url to open the profile page of the detected user. You can also use the shortcode [USERNAME] in the defined urls, the plugin will replace it by the detected username .
Is it possible that you can run a test to show me that this method works? Out of the box, WP doesn’t recognize shortcodes in urls.

I don’t have specific demo for this use, but it isn’t an option form Wordpress, but from the plugin itself. Filling [USERURL] in the “URL” option of a step will directly open the profile page of the user who watch the tour .
If I buy this plugin and for whatever reason, we are unable to get this option to work, will you give me a refund? Or will I lose out? The reason I ask is that I have a membership site and the tour will only be useful on dynamic urls for that purpose as I am using buddypress. I have no need to present a tour to people who are not already signed up.

You can ask the user to click the target element to continue the tour (instead of using a fixed delay) .
Locking them at the specific page until they complete the tour may be something you may want to add as a feature. I think a lot of consumers may find this useful. Otherwise, great plugin!
When the overlay is activated, the user is blocked on the wanted page during the tour .
