an update with new options available in the Interlinks -> AIL menu will be released in January. The Keyword Before and Keyword After fields will be added. (so you can match a keyword only when it’s preceded or followed by specific strings) A negative match like the one describe in your example will be considered, but I can’t guarantee about an actual implementation at the moment.

Hello, thanks for reaching out, it is not resolved, I can’t leave the AIL on with the filter options set at their highest level. This is a live site and it breaks the gallery so I had to disable. But you can turn AIL on to troubleshoot, but please turn it off unless you can resolve the issue of why it breaks the gallery. Appreciate your help.
When the filter priority is set to “2147483646” under the advanced tab, cache is cleared, in place of the gallery is a chunk of code:

I set the Left Boundary and Right Boundary of the keyword “shutters” to “White Space” to solve. There was a match in an attribute of an Elementor element that caused the parsing of the gallery to fail.
Other solutions are also possible. You can for example disable the automatic links in a specific page with the Enable AIL option in the Interlinks Options meta box or exclude specific HTML tags in the plugin options.

The automatic links applied by the plugin have a “data-ail” attribute, so it’s easy to identify where they are applied by inspecting the page HTML. I set it only for that keyword.
Is it possible to set the boundary at a global level to address instead of doing it by keyword?
You can set the default values in the Defaults options section, but not global values at the moment.
Is it possible to exclude the gallery by HTML tag?
The Interlinks -> Advanced -> Protected Tags option should be used but the slider uses the non-existing tag “rs-fullwidth-wrap”. So you would have to wrap the gallery in an existing tag and then exclude it.
Also how do you limit the number of the same keyword linked on 1 page to a maximum of 2?
By setting the Limit field of the specific keyword to “2” in the Interlinks -> AIL menu.

domain.com/blog/url-1 have target keyword X, and I want X to link to a domain.com/landing – I can’t do it cause target URL is “implied” and my landing page URL transforms from a /landing to a blog/landing 
So how can I create a custom target URL in that case?

Interlinks Manager is only for internal linking and doesn’t have a link clocking feature at the moment or the ability to create external links. You can create an AIL with Interlinks Manager to “https://example.com/promotion/example-product/” and then use another plugin to redirect the internal link.

Only the post content is parsed. The Advanced -> Filter Priority option determine the priority of the the_content filter.

In the post the number of internal links can be verified in the Interlinks Optimization meta box. The variation of the internal links is not verified.

Hi, does this plugin slow down webpages? And is it relative to the amount of links being loaded on a specific page? Or even if there are no links on the page it will still load slow if there are many entries in the database?

the amount of time required to apply the automatic links depends on the following factors:
- The number of entries defined in the Interlinks -> AIL menu
- The length of the posts
- The performance of the server CPU
The presence of the automatic links is always verified. In general I recommend to define only the keyword actually present in the blog and to use a caching plugin (WP Super Cache, etc.) if you have an high number of keywords.

can Woo Products be automatically added to the links? Many times we add products based on customer reviews. Products are created and scheduled to release every 3 days. When the scheduler makes a new product public, will automatic links to the product in older reviews be created? (so we do not have to go through hundreds of reviews and make changes. )

the auto internal links are applied in all the existing posts (old and new posts). If the reviews are registered as a custom post type you have to add the identifier of the custom post type in the Post Types option of the existing auto internal links in the Interlinks -> AIL and in the options available in the Interlinks -> Options -> Analysis tab.

Hi, we are on a preproduction of a website on woocommerce. If i buy your module, i will have to enter the url of the preproduction, but when i will want pass on production, it will be a different url. Is there a way to prevent the same keyword(s) being linked in the same post?
For example, I have the word ‘Yoga’ 22 times in one article, and want it to only link say 1 or 2 of them to another blog post, not all of them.
I can see I can limit the amount of links in total, but seemingly not per post?

the Limit option available in the Interlinks -> AIL menu and the other limit options available in the Interlinks -> Options -> Advanced tab are per post.
In this case you can solve by setting to “1” the Interlinks -> AIL -> Limit option of the “Yoga” keyword or set the limits available in the Interlinks -> Options -> Advanced. (E.g. the General Limit (Amount) option to “2” to limit the overall number of auto internal links per post to a fixed value of 2)

in terms of applications of the autolinks there is no limit and you can handle even millions of posts.
The menu in the back-end where the statistics are generated should be limited to the number of posts that your server can handle without reaching the PHP memory limit of the PHP maximum execution time.

Hi, I tried you plugin from elements and found a major bug. I tried using it with ali2woo plugin and when I update an item you plugin clears all the custom item attributes associated with ali2woo. I’ve never had this happen with many other plugins. Is there a way this can be fixed? Is there a know issue or work around for using this with woocommerce?

yes, this is possible, not directly by limiting the overall number of substitutions of a keyword in the entire blog, but by using one or more of the following techniques:
- By limiting the number of auto autolinks per post
- By creating a sufficient number of keywords to create a variety with the substitutions
- By disabling the application of the autolinks in the posts where you don’t want them
- By enabling the Advanced -> Random Prioritization option to improve the distribution of the keywords

Yes, you have to set the general limit on the post to “1” or the limit of the specific keyword to “1” based on your needs. Here you can find more details.
Each keyword has a field where you determine the priority of the keyword. If two keywords have the same priority the first added will have the priority.

There is a meta box to disallow the application of the auto internal links on specific posts. You can use a regex to exclude a group of posts, but it’s not part of the options. You would have to include the regex in the PHP method used to apply the auto internal links.

The clicked internal links are available as records reported in the Interlinks -> Hits menu and but not as a statistic with the collective number of clicks received per link.
I’ve added a note for this in our issue tracker so that this statistic will be considered in future plugin updates.

Yes, at line 321 of interlinks-manager\shared\class-daim-shared.php you have to add an “if” condition where you compare the parsed URL with the list of URLs that you provide. If there is a match you have to return the content of the post without applying the auto internal links. If you need more details feel free to ask.

I need to disallow showing any internal links on the pages with an url starting with “https://domain/hs-” or “https://domain/ms-” in order to keep these pages clean, but want to enable these urls to be linked by other posts. Could you send the details if statement i need to add to the php file?
Another question is, I want to disallow any internal links displayed in the first 100 words of any post. I only found a way to not show links in specific html codes (i.e. h2, h3, etc.), but didn’t find how to not show links within first X words or characters. Is there a way to do that?
