If the content is identical, it might get taken as duplicate content by Google. However, it’s quite hard to say for sure whether it affects negatively on SEO as it’s only Google who could provide answers. We assume it’s ok to duplicate reviews providing you are not going to do so on multiple occasions or on your website’s large number of pages.

Hi. for some reason, my testimonials are now clipping and showing “read more” even though i have “Full” selected under Style >HOW TO DISPLAY TESTIMONIALS TEXT. Can you please explain why this might be happening?
i also need the built in quotation marks to be removed. I was able to achieve this before on my own and now it seems ever since the update this is no longer possible? please advise. thanks!

The plugin shortcode causes my homepage to be non secure (non HTTPS). The SSL certificate is valid but the plugin causes the browser to consider my website not fully secure. What element in the plugin might cause this insecurity?

Please, make sure that the images you’ve added to the plugin were uploaded with the HTTPS protocol. If there are some that use HTTP, you need to reupload them to the plugin using HTTPS and it should fix the issue for you.

You should all know that the plugin does not include a way to modify directly : - font type - color of background - font size
You would require to modify CSS codes…. but The CSS codes provided by the technical team do have no action on my plugin / pages.. (even if I copy the css code to the global theme to be sure it’s included in each page of the website).
Quite strange to design a plugin without font / background color personalization… Except, you want exactly what you see, don’t go for this one.

Hello, I have a couple of questions. One, will this plugin work with language options, i will be using a plugin to have the site be in multiple languages. I had expected this plugin to have testimonials as a custom post type, but it does not seem that is how it works, so I am wondering if the language switcher is going to work. Also I can’t get the testimonial out of slider mode. I don’t have the same starting options as you show on your demo for the plugin and there is no place where I can choose grid, so all I get is a slider which is not what I was after, I want a tiled grid – postcard style – not a slider. That first screen on your demo where you choose between rotator, carousel, cards, etc….I don’t get that screen mine starts with the next one, slider or tiled postcard and what I get after that is only the slider.

You will see the option of choosing the language on Content tab of your plugin's settings - https://monosnap.com/file/BRiDN1uMoL9FylYAqCDe4zAqfcyLotHowever, you need to keep in mind that the testimonials are not pulled in automatically, with this plugin you need to add them manually. As for changing the testimonials’ layout, you should have this option. you say the templates are not available with this plugin. What does that mean exactly. I bought this plugin specifically for the cards layout that was included in your demo. Is that not available with this plugin? Do I have to buy that separately or make it myself? your initial screen on the demo includes a carousel, rotator, slider and cards layout. None of these come with the plugin?
I should point out that I do have the screen you have shown in the link above. That is where my widget starts. But your demo starts with a screen before that where I can choose from carousel, rotator, slider, cards and a couple of other things. Should that not be the first choice in the plugin settings?

The Layout tab is the first tab of the plugin’s settings, that is correct. The samples you’ve seen in the demo are not included as such in the WordPress plugin, but each of them can be replicated with the plugin’s settings. So you’re very welcome to try out different card templates and layouts to get the look you need.

you are not understanding. I can’t get the plugin to do a tiled or grid layout, the only thing it will do is a slider…Should I uninstall and add it again?
ok I got it finally, you have to click on the slider layout in the first screen not the top template one. All I say was slider so I did not click on it. But when you click on it then you can choose between grid and slider. This is still a weird format and not sure it will work, but it sure looks nice, I love the card view.
ok new issue, the testimonial itself cannot be styled – the B for bold is ignored and even when I change to the proper tag which should be not it does not change the text in anyway. There is a <> feature to allow you to add html, but that is pretty much ignored or stripped out as well.

Hi, we are trying to customize your plugin. 1. Our goal is to have the header” What our clients say” in white instead of the default faded grey color that appears on the website. I don’t see any option to change this anywhere on the plugin. I also checked your support site and I can’t find a single piece of documentation. Was hoping to find some custom css templates that we can edit to achieve our goal. 2. We are using template “Tiled Classic” and layout “Slider” and only getting 2 reviews on the page at once. We would like to get it to 3 as there is still lots of room on the page on the desktop resolution. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I cannot put in a ticket because I downloaded your plugin from Elements.
1. Regarding the title color. your CSS code you provided did not seem to do anything. Our goal is to change the header “What our clients say” from a grey to white. Any ideas?
2. No there is no container as far as I can tell. The page is set to “Blank – No container”. Using Cornerstone to put the widget in the section.
If there is a way I can email you the issue in more detail with pictures etc so you can take a look at it let me know. I bet this would be a pretty easy fix for your team.

ok it says i have 1.4.3 now, but its strange. i was activating a plugin and waiting for the screen to refresh saying it was activated. i then thought the screen reloaded but it didnt actually and i went ahead and clicked update for Elfsight Testimonials. it started updating and THEN the screen refreshed activating the other plugins and returned an error updating ElfSight Testimonials.
So im not sure if it is actually updated even though it does say latest version. Is there a way to manually update via FTP to make sure it is actually current version?

If you’re having doubts about whether your plugin actually got updated, you can login to CodeCanyon with the account you’ve used to purchase the plugin, and you’ll see the update in your Downloads folder. You need to download the update, remove the current plugin from your website, and to manually install the update.
Your slider will be saved in the database, so you don’t have to worry about losing it.

Unfortunately, with the way our plugin works, the editor settings are available only in the editor in your website’s backend. Your clients will only see the feed on your website, but they won’t be able to add new testmonials themselves. Can you change the arrow icons on the slider?

You can switch from arrows to drag on Layout tab of the plugin's settings, in Slider Settings section, but there is no setting as such to adjust the appearance of the arrows.However, we believe that this might be doable with a CSS code.
