Sorry, but it seems to me inappropriate to compare these 2 options.
In the first case, the forms on your site are implemented by the functionality of the HubSpot scripts.
In the second case, the forms on the site are implemented by the functionality of the Elementor Pro plugin, or rather by its form widget.
Our plugin does not implement the functionality of the forms and does not affect loaidng score of the user part. Our plugin extends the capabilities of the Elementor Pro plugin form widget by adding new actions to it after the form is submitted.

1. Just reproduced a similar situation with the data and didn’t get any complications. If I understand correctly, then you are talking about the following situation – when the checkbox `Acceptance` in the form is selected, then everything is fine, but if the form is sent without the enabled checkbox `Acceptance`, then the record does not appear in the HubSpot?
2. This means some kind of problem with the permissions to files / folders. You can change the path of the log file, through a constant. Specify in your `wp-config.php`

“your path” – must be replaced with the path you need to the directory that is writable

I run two tests – form data and consent was sent successfully. Then I did a couple of further tests and the consent did not pass data. please see warning triangle symbol in screenshot ‘Screenshot 2021-02-10 at 14.23.31’. – you will see a warning saying that it cannot pass data. However it just did previously on the first two tests.

Noticed that Lead Status is same as Consent in table – when HubSpot sees a New Lead – It also passed Consent to yes. When not, it does not show Consent.
Is this correct workings of Hubspot? Every test is a new email address, therefore a new contact.

In what situation are you not getting the expected behavior: when you submit a form with a checkbox enabled, or when you submit a form without a checkbox enabled?
I can assume that when you submit a form without the checkbox enabled, because if the checkbox is not enabled, then no value is sent from the form.
Thanks again for your patience on this topic. Note the user cannot submit any of the 2 forms without checking the mandatory checkbox (user consent / acceptance). Only forms can be submitted when its checked from website. So all forms posted to hubspot will have the value checked / ticked (as the form cannot be submitted without consent box checked).
So we are experiencing different behaviours in hubspot – upon submitting the same values within the form. (including mandatory checkbox)

Sometimes new contact form entries pass to HubSpot as New Lead with Privacy Policy Consent passed to ‘Yes’. And sometimes it will not pass Privacy Policy Consent correctly at all. Please advise. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce any problem, the received data matches the field settings and the data submitted from the form.
Also, the plugin works with contacts / deals – not with leads.
1. Please check if you have configured the creation of contacts from emails – that is, integration with mail is configured.
2. Please solve the logging problem according to the previously suggested option. Since without a log, it is quite difficult to analyze what is really happening. The problem either exists or it does not exist, but it cannot disappear and appear.
Please note that we have more than one plugin for Elementor Pro forms – so we know perfectly well how to send data from them.
Please provide the plugin log as soon as you solve the logging problem.

I can’t seem to link a deal to the contact. So, I added Hubspot Deal as an action after submit. Then I added the shortcodes for the fields to the corresponding Hubspot Deal fields. But somehow the created Deal does not associate itself to the contact (existing or newly created). The Deal is created, the contact as well, but these are not associated. Is there something I’m missing? Thanks.

1. Sorry, but I do not quite understand which HubSpot extension you are talking about (anyway, I don’t think it has to do with the form widget or our plugin). Our plugin adds an action after submitting a form for the Elementor Pro Form Widget.
2. The plugin always tries to find an existing contact before creating a new one. A new contact is created only if an existing one is not found.
If the switch is on, then if the contact is found, then it will be updated, if not enabled, then if the contact is found, then it will not be updated.

Unfortunately, as of now, the new API still does not have methods for working with lists.

As soon as methods for working with lists appear, support will be added to the plugin.

So, this problem may be due to several reasons, for example – very old version libcurl, cache dns on the hosting provider’s or hosting provider prohibits any connections to the outside. Unfortunately, this problem is not created by the plugin itself, since it uses the built-in WordPress method `wp_remote_post`.
Well, so as not to waste your time solving problems on the hosting, I just added a “no request” license check if the site could not make a normal request. Please install the latest version and just try to check the license again, activation will simply work (as if everything was successful) if the request is not completed again normally.
